My wife and I want to start something from scratch. I currently work and cover our bills. But it is not enough. We both realize that we need to start something, something that can make us at least $1500 a month working from home, or anything.
Any ideas?

There is actually two ways of answering this question....First I would need to know if you have your product or service in mind, or are you looking for what is called an "affiliate" program. An affiliate program allows you to build a business and market products of an already established business.

If this be the case, there are a lot of good company's that fall into this category, however, unfortunately there are a lot of "not so good" company's....

Look for a company that has been around at least 5 years, financially stable, has a product with mass market appeal, good pay plan with no limits on earnings and have good support and training....

If your starting with your own product, you need the necessary financing, a good business plan, a website and a marketing plan for advertising.

Starting from scratch requires overhead, distribution costs, costs receivable and payable, employee headaches and then how long before you break even after building relationships to create a client base that may or may not have longevity.

A turn key business is in direct sales and the sub category is network marketing. This one requires very little start up, money back guarantee, no overhead, no storage, no distribution costs, no accounts payable or receivable, and no employee headaches. You estimate making your initial investment for the service or product within a few days or weeks. Your results are measurable so that you can predict how and when you will make 1500 a month.

Business opportunities are plentiful, but be careful as many require substantial start up costs. Many do not. All require some form ofselling though many claim you don't have to sell, it's a turnkey opportunity, etc, etc. My advice is to have a maketing plan in place prior to diving in. You will quickly run out of friends and family that may pretend to be interested but don't want to tell you the truth. A good resource to gain insight into this fact of small business selling is: http://facts.the7greatliesofnetworkmarketing.com/
It's free and will definitely put things into perspective for you. Best of luck.

Don’t ever give anyone any money! Anyone who says they made $2,000 in one month is probably not telling the truth.

My wife and I have tried many programs and finally found a few ways to work from home. They will NOT make you rich, but it is a way to earn extra cash. They are free and are legit…we have been paid by them with no expense from us. Click on the blog below to see how they work.

Also, you can download some free Google Virus Protection (look on my blog on the right side)...really cool, free software from Google. I always like to tell people about it.

I have been involved in quite a few online businesses, but My Power Mall is the one I would recommend. There are no costs involved in running the business, so there is absolutely nothing to lose. I have been let down quite a few times with other home-based businesses, but not this one. It is so incredibly easy to set-up and run from home. Anyone can do it. Please take some time to review it, I have posted the link below.

I know of a great team of work at home professionals. Partnered with a BBB Hall of Fame Company, with over 22 years of consistent, year over year growth. This company is financially sound, and is forcasted to continue its growth, doubling in size in the next five years. So, this opportunity will continue to improve. It also builds long-term, residual income for those looking to work part/full time from home. If this sounds like something you're looking for, I'd be happy to help you get more information. You can email me at worknfrmhome@iglide.net.

I work from home as a Benefits Specialist. I looked for work at home for 3 years before finding this company, and I believe its one of the best ones out there. They currently have about 70,000 people working from home. They also have almost 2 million members on their benefits plan. They allow people to work from home full or part time. They offer 401(k) and direct deposit. Plus you get the benefits for your whole household. On average your first year you can expect to make $18,000-$22,000, your second year $40,000-$60,000 and your third year, on average is $80,000-$100,000. http://www.freedomathometeam.com/JBurke

There are lots of SCAMS about home based JOBS on the net. So, don’t join any program which asks you for an initial payment. I have helped many people on the net to make money online, without investing even a single $. Its a legitimate way to earn money. http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-A5k9CVA2eqgxzUQSQjmT4UHv
