Can you tell me what is in the middle of Greenland that looks like a HUGE ship?

From an altitude of 561 mi. I think you are looking at a the object at 455627m E and 7824032m N.

When Google compiles images of the earth for use on it's website, it gathers data from many different sources and dates. It stitches together thousands of satellite images to come up with one great big image.

Satelite imagery, like aerial photography, relies on many different factors that can affect the outcome of the image. Time of day, time of year and atmospheric conditions are 3 that spring to mind right away.

When 2 images of the same area are put side by side, they can look vastly different.

That is a good question. Someone said it is a
volcano, another said it is sand.
The top is too straight and regular to be either.
Your guess is as good as mine.
Looks like the side of a frame building to me.
