well when you consider the will of america on the two biggest issues on the table today, immigration and the war, then you look at bush's continued obsession with doing the complete opposite of the will of the people, you begin to see that, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, realy are just words, on an old piece of paper, and nothing more. thing is though, there is another will of the people that increases more and more each day as americans wake up, questioning authority and looking back on 9-11. what really happend on that day? we want answers!

this is no longer. human beings have never had a say in a President's judgements. To think of otherwise is to incorporate folly. First, the president is grow to be elected to lead the rustic and do what he believes is sweet. sufficient human beings agreed along with his ideals to go with him the 1st time and then concept he did a reliable sufficient job to reelect him. which skill he have been given an endorsement from the human beings to proceed to lead. 2nd, no longer purely like the human beings, Bush is definitely to blame for his judgements. All of u . s . is his difficulty, and his reelection grow to be a affirmation that individuals believed he grow to be doing the proper element. could a president who became faraway from what he believed grow to be precise consistent with an opinion poll be worth of the workplace? Hell, no. A president who had no faith in his very own convictions isn't somebody who could be in any place of authority. As for accepting this "authority", in actuality that he grow to be given this authority by skill of the human beings, and he has been making use of this authority in a Constitutional way. No reason to fret. As for the concept a President performing in accord with the form is a "dictatorship", this is purely no longer real, and shows a point of irrational questioning.

Well, I can only say this - he is supposed to lead, not follow public opinion. Granted, as President, he represents the people and is supposed to do what will be the best for our nation. I just have to believe that The President (any President, not just President Bush) makes decisions based on information that the general public does not (and should not) have access to.

Why should he care since he can not be re-elected President (term limitations) and Laura Bush told me that she was not interested.
I guess a real wife would not want her husband to become "First Lady."
Now Laura Bush is a real First LADY!

With less than 50% of the people even willing to vote .
and less than that even interested in anything but themselves and their wants and needs. He needs to govern in the interest of what is best for the nation not special interest.

I doubt it, he cares more about doing what he thinks is right. Unfortunately that seems to go against what the people that elected him think is right.

He has always cared about it. However his job is to make the decision he believes is right, not be a puppet to public opinion polls.
