I live in downtown Manhattan. My room faces an extremely busy street directly and there are many heavy trucks back and forth even after mid-night. Even worse, there is many pubs and clubs around. And directly beneath me is a pizza shop, which plays the hard rock&roll for the whole night and tends to increase the volume after mid-night. I don't think the new NYC noise code will help much. In sum, there is zero time that the place is quiet. I've bought foam ear plugs, but they don't help much, esp. for the rock&roll and disco type. I read the previous Q&As and thought I might have the following options: (1) military ear plugs; (2) musician ear plugs; (3) gun shooting ear plugs; (4) try more foam plugs from different manufactures. Is there a place in NYC that I can try all of the above options all at once. Specifically, which type of ear plugs is the most effective on rock&roll&disco type noise? Please give links so I can buy. I am directly sleeping on their high-vibrating sound systems.

About a day ago after being accidently hit on my check/ear(not hard) I have a constant noise that sounds like a refrigerator turned on in my ear,or the sound you get in your ears after leaving a concert,or if you turn your head fast,and the air gets into your ears.When I hear normal sounds now they seem thicker,annoying,but if I put a cotton in my ear it hepls,but the sound of a turned on refrigerator remains.The strange thing is If I am in the car with the radio on I hear the music normal,but if I get out of the car I can hear the vibration of my feet touching the ground,and the sound of a refrigerator turned on in my ear returns.Will it go away?Can I put some type of drops in my ear to help?Thank you.

I'm a 27 year old male and I'm begining to wonder if I am BI. Thing is, I've been in a relationship with a girl for almost 3 years though its been serious about 2. Things are going pretty well, in fact I re-located about an hour away from where I was to be closer. I am pretty shy and I'm kinda hard to get to know so I only have a couple of close friends plus my GF n thats cool with me. I've never been in a gay realtionship or really never seriously thought about it. I'm happy being with my GF and all but I guess my interest in guys has kinda evolved over time(mostly have fetishs). I'm not sure how this came to be. When I masterbate I have fantasies about guys and sometimes I'll get really hard ***** if I see a good looking guy in public or theres a couple guys at work that have that effect. However, when me and my GF have sex its just about us, I'm not thinking about guys then. Noone knows about this and I'm scared to say anything and fear losing my girl but I cant help these feelings

I watched some of the democratic debate where they went to an intentionally segregated audience and argued about who was doing more to help people of that race. I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as they treat all races equally.

The race they talked about at the debate was blacks. When are they going to talk about all the important issues affecting whites and argue about who has done more to help and who cares more about white people?

The white vote is very important to the candidates, and I think it would be helpful if they filled a room with nothing but white people to talk about how they will help whites.

Well here's the rules:

If I win, I get $50, but if I quit, I lose $50

I help tutor at my school. So from 8:00 - 10:00 AM, I'd be there. As soon as I got out, my friend would be there waiting for me. We go around back and she would handcuff me behind my back and "arrest" me. Since I'm coming from tutoring, I'd be in my school uniform the whole day. I'd would be led from school to her house. We walk down roads with no cars and only very few houses along the way, so no one would see us. When we got to her house, I'd have my hands cuffed in front of me, and we'd have lunch and I'd be able to use the bathroom. Then after lunch, at noon, I'd have my hands cuffed behind me again. I would then be led up to her room and into her dog's cage. Her dog would be outside and the cage would be cleaned.I'd have to stay in there for 4 hours. I cannot leave for any reason. My hands would still be handcuffed, so I couldn't try to escape. After that, I'd get $50 and go home.

And yes, I've seen the money. So should I do it?

It was my decision to separate. We will divorce. We have twins 1.5 yrs old. Since the separation, i never know what to expect - whether he'll be cordial or angry. Lately, his anger seems worse - he says hes depressed, he says he'd like to "end it all" and/or "run away". His friends have stepped aside while he's going through this, leaving only me a regular face to lash out at. Hes told another friend he thinks he needs help. This friend says i should find him help. Yet, dare i? Already he blames me for all the disappointment in his life now. I can just imagine if that doesnt work for him - another thing for him to lash out at me for. I really dont know what to do, or even who to talk to. . . any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I've seen all sorts of questions on here & I thought ppl were more informed than they are. I was seriously wrong. Is there anything that you question?

Do you believe that the Bible has been changed by MAN b/c of political agendas? Or do you just skip in the daisies with the Bible under your arm smiling like an idiot?

Why do you believe the scriptures? Why do you think there are so many different scriptures (in numerous religions) written about apocalypses? It is impossible for all of the scriptures to be true. Who thinks that dark evil spirits from the spirit world may have something to do with this?

The is a certain cartoon I am looking for but I do not remember what it is called, I will give a description of a bit of it: a 3 man group in space one of them has a weapon that is two gun type things and he can combined it in to one to make a staff gun type thing it is red and white (along with the man uniform)and can break anything, there was a man in blue and a man in yellow but I forgot what weapons they have.
