We don't have an immigration problem, we have an illegal alien problem. I recently had a ticket from 1986 in Philly drop on my head here in Florida. I called my representatives here in Florida, I called the governor's office, I called the governor's office in PA, I called the DMV in Pa. I wrote the governor's office and the DMV in PA, all for naught. It's a clerical error, yet it has managed to show up twenty one years later and nobody will do anything about the mistake. My government can track me in a hundred different ways but they can't seem to find the illegals. Why? The dems want the votes and the republicans want the cheap labor and both are willing to screw American citizens to further their own purposes. It's not that they can't, they won't. I'll do what I can on my part. Anyone voting for amnesty will not get my vote. I wrote my representatives and warned them, now I will show them.

There is no Immigration problem it is Illegal Immigration that is the problem. The politicians do not want to make things right for the average person, they are owned by the corporations.

I don't know if its a question of 'can't'....its more likely 'won't'.
The cost of solving the illegal immigration problem is astonomical. Identifying those individuals alone would cost billions. Then there is the issue of all those American people who have hired illegals...they will do what they can to thwart all efforts. This is a deep and multi-layered problem that many in America don't really want solved...

B/C of 1, votes and 2, economy. On the surface, all these illegals seem to boost the economy by their cheap wages. However, these individuals know our system too well. They quickly jump on programs such as WIC and Foodstamps. So ultimately we are paying them more than is FAR worth their efforts. Some blinded strategy planners for companies think the next big profit boost is hiring all illegals and it is pushing the American citizen out of work. So, it is the vote of big companies that the head-ups want. All about the money for them.

Because immigrants vote. It's all about the votes, no politician wants to give up votes.

because they are putting their own selfish needs in front of the people who actually put them in office. The next group of senators will be smarter by far.
