I watched some of the democratic debate where they went to an intentionally segregated audience and argued about who was doing more to help people of that race. I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as they treat all races equally.

The race they talked about at the debate was blacks. When are they going to talk about all the important issues affecting whites and argue about who has done more to help and who cares more about white people?

The white vote is very important to the candidates, and I think it would be helpful if they filled a room with nothing but white people to talk about how they will help whites.

man don't you know that would not be P.C.? first the whites are a minority, 2nd the are so stupid they vote for each candidate almost equally, so now the blacks can come in and with their 12% solid block vote elect the one they want.so in essence the white vote don't even count, and I hear people say I don't want to lose my vote??? if you were a poitician would you want to woo a bunch of losers?

What is an "intentionally segregated" audience.? One that is in a white neighborhood? I doubt any other races would be asked to leave, so that comment sounds a little racist on its own.

If we had a meeting in a black neighborhood...then that would be an "intentionally black" audience? I think most of that is just where the meeting takes place. I could go to a black church and it would be almost totally black in attendance....but I would have no problem with attending there. Yes the culture would be different than I am used to.....but so what?

I don't think we should be talking about either race. We can talk about people in need, schools that are failing, no matter what race they belong to....but black...or white? You need to move on in your thinking. It is only the "activist" that thinks that is still necessary or a good thing.

We need to work together for the betterment of all who have needs....I don't care what color they are! And your "white" comments sounds a little neo-nazi!

I do think the activists "push" the racial issue all the time....otherwise they would be out of a job! So who is paying them?

I don't know what is happening to this country or world for that matter. There are alot of racists out there. Whether you like it or not, God put every living person, animal, fowl, etc. on this planet. There should never be any white issues of black issues. What the government does is affecting everyone of us. I believe that they don't care, if they did then they would do something about it.

There should never be a segregated white or black. In God's eyes we are all brother and sister. The only thing I can tell you is to get over it and stop the complaining.

On the issue about affecting the white race, well I think that you are wrong. It doesn't metter what issue they talk about, it's going to affect everyone. If there is someone in office that only wants to help the white race, then he/she needs to be removed from that office.

The white vote is no more important than the black vote. It doesn't matter because it's going to affect everyone no matter what race you are. It doesn't matter who's in charge of the country their discission is going to affect everybody.

I saw the debate and I agree that it should not be for only one race. I am glad you can see the forest through the trees.
The answers from the candidates were geared for the same race audience. How could anyone fail?
I was surprised that Hillary got such an enthused response for saying that the U.S. would be landing troops and equipment in Darfur, I guess because its Africa.
Obama actually had a good response for tax question that was against the grain of the other candidates, but didn't have enough time to go into detail.
Overall, the tone was clearly going to the way of a social republic.

Interesting question. I don't know if it was the intent that those audiences you referred to be deliberately segregated. I suppose if any white people wanted be part of those audiences, noone could refuse them.

Any candidate would be committing political suicide if he/she were to address a function that only permitted white people to attend. However, how about when candidates, Democrats or Republicans, campaign at locations like country fairs.or the Chamber of Commerce, etc ? A lot of times, there are only ly white people present..

First let me commend you on your ability to NOT see the forest because of the trees.
Every election is geared toward what you want to call “issues affecting the white community”.
However, that is the forest…NOT the trees.
You seem to be one of the individuals that seem to feel as though you are being deprived because there are others that have needs in this country specific to their race or ethnicity and THAT is one tree of many that many white folk are directly responsible for.
Whenever I read questions or hear comments like yours, I can imagine you talking with your white friends and complaining about the *******; the sp1cks; the wetbacks; the Hebes(Jews); the A Rabs(sic); the chinks; the Mafia; religionist of all kind, et al and blaming them for all your problems and the ills of this country AND you seem to want the candidates to give you a special forum where you and they can speak freely in this manner as to how them ******* et al are messin’ up this fine country for good white folk like you. LLLLLOL!
I laugh because I thought about a comedy skit by Dave Chappelle.
He played a blind black man that was raised believing he was white.
He became a KKKlansmen that was revered by white folk. They never saw him without his hood on so they didn’t know he was black.
At a KKK meeting they kept asking that he take off his hood so they could see his face.
He did so and much to their chagrin, they found out that he was a black man and of course they were flabbergasted. One person so much so, that his head exploded.
Get it?
HE WAS BLIND! LLLLLOL!
It’s all in the mind.
Clear your mind of that racist and discriminatory crap that you are programmed to believe and you’ll be able to help make things better for you and us all.
It is the racism and discrimination, not just by white folk, but by EVERY ethnicity that cause the specific needs of not only black folk in this country but EVERY ETHNICITY throughout the world…ethnicity includes white folk too.
It pains me to know that many white folk are so mean spirited and selfish that they are forever looking for someone to blame so much so that many are even discriminatory toward other white folk.
The concern over race and ethnicity is so prevalent and CRAZY in this county that black folk that identify with so-called white issues are STILL called Uncle Toms et al.
EVERY ISSUE that the candidates of either party speak of in the debates or other forums, no matter what ethnicity or party have direct and indirect ramifications toward EVERY ETHNICITY in this country and actually THE WORLD.
When will we all learn that the human race is all one community and that we are all interconnected and interrelated?
What one government does, no matter what government it is, affect not only the citizens of that country but the rest of the world as well.
JFK said: "My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what can you do for your country."
What are YOU doing to make things better for you and others in your community, your town, your state, your county and the rest of the world?
Do you at least believe in a god and ask him or her to help you make things better or that He or She take control and make things better?
well? do ya?
Or do you just ***** and whine and ask questions like this.
tmo.
