Okay, give me your top 5 closely related languages to Hindi.

Urdu is the most closely related in terms of spoken language.
The script called Devanagiri ' is used for writing Marathi, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Bhojpuri and many more.
I would go with spoken Urdu though as being closest to Hindi

Sanscrit is closely related to Hindi. Other languages closely spoken and written as compared to Hindi are Marathi and Urudu.

marathi and bengali are also closely related. I heard that Tamil is the most ancient languages in India and languages like malayalam, kannada, telugu and hindi are derived from Tamil. Even hindi has many words derived from Tamil.

Sanskrit has the same scripts as Hindi, but it is not spoken in the same way. Nobody speaks Sanskrit anymore.
