Word problem:
Geothermal energy is createdwherever water comes into contact with heated underground rocks. The underground temp. of rocks varies with their depth below the surface. The temp. (t) in degrees celsius is estimated by the function:
t(d)=35d+20
where d is the depth in kilometers of the rocks
A- Graph the linear equation [y'all don't have to]
B-Find the temp. of the rocks at a depth of 3 kilometers [ I think it's 125 or 375?]
C-Is the function discrete or continous? Explain your reasoning
D-Find the depth if the temp. of the rocks is 195 degrees Celsius

My dirt bike is a 1980 kawasaki kx 80. I take the carbuerator apart, clean it, and put it together it sticks. I rode on it a bit and it quit sticking. I took it apart again to replace a part and its sticking again what can i do to stop the sticking???

I just got home from seeing "Sicko," and my mom and I are now planning to move to London next year after I finish college. She has terminal cancer and simply cannot get the treatment she needs in this country. And I've always wanted to live in London!

I'm looking for tips on how to go about moving and getting a job over there. I worked as a proofreader/editor for four years, have a strong background in writing, and will graduate next year with a bachelor's degree of fine arts (interior architecture, with minors in graphic design and in art history). I would love to get a job working for a design magazine over there, like something along the lines of Metropolis over here.

Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for show times in Kentucky for the movie "Sicko" and have not found anything! I have looked at future releases in the near by theaters and still....no Sicko! Anyone in Kentucky know if this movie has been banned here? Anyone else pissed they can't see it?!

Ok...My family lives in the country and cats have taken over the barn. Every time a litter of kittens is born, at around 6 weeks old they start to get a oozing eye cold. The vet gave my parents penicillin (sp?) to give them small shots, but did not give them an explanation for the problem.

So....does anyone know what may be causing this? Recently, the vet I take my pets to said it could be caused by ear mites so we are treating the little kitty we brought home for that. I'm still very interested in other ideas though so that maybe we can stop this cycle. Thanks

i drew a tattoo design like six or so months ago. it was perfect. but just to be sure, i keep it posted in my room and use it as the wall paper on my phone, to make sure i still like it. i added something around it, but it didn't change the design and now i like it even more. Does it sound like i'm on the right track to getting one i really love?
