i used to be mentally strong. i suppose if you wanted me to clarify what i meant, i mean in the sense that i believe humans have the capability to use percentages of their will power.

however, most only use the lower half (ones who believe in external control/factors) whilst the mentally strong ones can exhert up to the higher percentanges of their will power (internal control/factors). extreme self-belief.

after stopping the pot and going to the gym and eating healthily everyday, i'm still finding myself not as in control as i would like to be. activity wise, what can i do to increase my mental strength? i used to be assertive but now i'm just aggressive. (to the point of obnoxiousness) it's something i can't control as much as i'd like to. it's just plain random rage (which i suspect is caused by the anxiety-paranoia, which i thought i overcame).

if you're going to suggest meditation, at least give me a technique to follow. breathing in and out doesn't seem to do anything for me.

Hello, we have a large family, run our own business and do lots of travelling. We currently have a mercedes traveliner (9 seats) which is OK and before that a Toyota landcruiser (8 seats), but we need at least another seat! we thought we may just go for a 12 seater as we also use for business, but we cant find anything other than a ford transit? is that really the only new 10/12 seater we can buy?? She has verbally abused me, and made me her lapdog. We're married (First time for both of us), but she separtated from me months ago (kicking me out with a weeks notice). I've done everything possible to show her I'm a good person. I come to find out she has a life I've never known about. And yes, that does mean seeing other people among other things.
And I will never stew over how I was some victim through all this. I understand how I am responsible for letting this happen to me. I just can't understand why she was constantly saying one day how much she loves me and how she hopes we will work things out, and the next telling me what a loser I am.
She says I'm 100% to blame for what went wrong with us.
Yet I had to deal with the fact that she is a stripper, constantly screaming and threatening me, and controlling the whole relationship. I would just like to hear her say she's sorry, or that she understands what she may have done to hurt our marriage. She still she hates me. Why?

what does this mean PS3 60GB jap. I am after buying a playstaion 3 off ebay. on closer expection i notice it says PS3 60GB jap. i'm pagan. many people in this forum think i'm atheist because of my questions and answers, and that's ok with me.

but i recently read some answers by what appears to be atheists, that are just disgusting. someone posted a question, thinking they were challenging atheistic scientific beliefs and most of you just insulted the asker, you didn't even attempt to answer!

this is the equivelant to the christians just dropping some bible quote that has no reference to the question, and calling it an answer.

i understand some of their questions are frustrating and make you want to bang your head off the wall, but isn't it better to give them an actual answer to help them see the light of science and logic, instead of reconfirming their stereotypical ideas about atheists, causing them to believe more deeply in their religion?

I really love and respect my mother, but at the same time she should also understand what I want. I love this person and I really wish and want to spend my entire life with him. I met him on the internet and we both share good understanding. he is ready to marry me and me too. we are matured enough to think practically. we have not just been loving birds and all.. we know what life is all about and we do understand our responsibilities and duties. I once in the past had net connection and his family came with the proposal but it was rejected and im fine with it. I have several different wi-fi devices (PDA, Smartphone). I know that if I am in a hotspot (library, coffee shop, etc... ), I can use my device. I was wondering if I am over my friends house can i still be able to use the wi-fi capabilities?

I went fishing the other day and I was thinking to myself, can I justify doing this as a sport? I mean, it would be ok if I was eating the fish but I'm not. It's a bit disturbing as some of them swalloed the hook and I had to get it out. Even killing the maggots is a little bit horrific.Is it ok to do this as a sport?
