There is a product called "Goop". It is a white jelly and comes in a can. Rub it into the worst spots and toss the clothes into the washer. It is also used as a hand cleaner and is very gentle, but it really does a job on grease. Hope its available where you live.

I use Dawn, wash in the hottest water that`s safe for the greasy clothes, and use Tide. Works like a charm. If the grease remains after the wash, do not put it in the dryer ~ that just cooks in the stain. Try the Dawn again, this time scrub it with an old toothbrush or a scrub brush, and wash again.

I use Goop on my husbands clothes. What I do is put the clothes in and add the detergent and depending on how greasy the clothes are I put in anywhere from a 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of goop.
I always use liquid detergent for both my washing machine and my dishwasher as I have been told that the powder detergents can build up in the lines of your sewer and cause blockages.

Fels Naptha soap. It works great on grass stains too. Mechanics in my family have been using this product for years. Get the clothing damp, but not soaked. Rub in the soap until a good lather is made, scrub with brush and wash. Don't put in dryer if spot is not removed.
Works great on your mans work hands.

When I fry food and it splatters on my clothes, I immediately take Dawn dishwashing liquid and place on grease stain. This helps it from setting in. When washing, I use liquid Oxy-Clean with regular detergent. It takes it out every time.

Last weekend at work i spilled some oil from the fryer onto my black work trousers and thought that i would need to put them in the bin but what i 've done was put some washing up liquid onto the stain and rubbed it in for a while then washed the trousers as normal they look great now.

Add amonia to the wash water. I use it for my sons' clothes and he's a mechanic - works like a charm but will over time reduce the strength of the fabric.
