I am located in Texas. People always tell me I have a great voice for radio or video games. I am very interested in finding out more about how to be cast to do voice work for radio, anime, cartoons, TV, video games, etc.

What do I need to do to get started? Are there any Texas-based companies that I should check out? Is there an organization, like an actor's guild, that I need to be a part of??

I've been on TV before and I've acted in theatre in high school.

Thanks!

I just bought some ears from the farmers' market, and most of the husks are peeled off. I'm planning a yummy grilled dinner tonight, and I was wondering how long I should grill the corn on my charcoal grill. I should still wrap the corn in foil, right?

Is there a relationship between economic conservativism (or free-market capitalism) and religion? For example, why is there a correlation between Christian fundamentalism and the Republican party? By contrast, why have Communist regimes historically banned religion?

One of the main reasons for the USA revolutionary war was the colonies were being taxed by England, but had no representation in parliament. I was in DC today and their license tags say Taxation without Representation, alluding to the fact that the Constitution restricts Representation to the states. Never mind that most residents of the District came there for the benefit of the government largess. If Taxation without Representation is bad, then why is it possible for people to have Representation, but yet they pay NO taxes, or Representation without Taxation?
If you don't pay taxes, I don't think you should have any say so in the running of the government! Obviously, people like that will ONLY vote to receive more social benefits and aid from the government. Responsible hard working people ought to make those decisions rather than lazy ne'er do wells!

I was seeing this psychatrist of 11 years. He would even take my calls at night and talk to me for a hour. My husband had me so emotionally battered and without my doctor I couldn't have made it. I left my husband in April, finally. My doctor passed away in May. I never got the chance to say good-bye, thank him for hours of listens without charging me, and most important that I finally made it out. He was my bestfriend. Do you think he is looking down and knows that finally I'm okay?

My family and I live in SE Oklahoma and, though we do like the people and the scenery, the summertime humidity just sucks!! We live in a heavily wooded area near a lake. It's always moist and the bugs are just awful. I can't go outside in the evening for 5 minutes without getting chewed up. So I'm wondering, is there a place in the U.S. with the following characteristics?

Mild weather - snow in the winter but not too many days of being snowed in, warm summers but not so much humidity

Mountains and hills

Streams, creeks, and lakes all around

Small towns with little to no crime

Small schools with the majority of kids being raised with manners and a little bit of common sense

Small farms and ranches ran by simple, laid back country folk who don't care what kind of car you drive or what the tag on your shirt reads.

I know, I'm dreaming, but I might get lucky.
