I know how to use the semi-colon, comma, coordinating conjuctions and periods but I can get so confused. For example:
I can't wait to jump in the water looked so inviting.
semi-colon: I can't wait to jump in; the water looked so inviting
conjunction: I can't wait to jump in for the water looked inviting.
I cannot use a comma as it will be a comma splice. Can anyone help me? My main question is, is there only one correct way to separate each run-on or are there options for each run-on? If so, that means I can use any of the two ways right?
