First of all, lack of sleep definitely contributes to dark circles under your eyes. They are also genetic. I read that some people always have dark circles under their eyes, even if they do get the proper amount of sleep. My best advice to you is, invest in a good concealer. Then apply a loose translucent powder over it to set it.

Like you, I have dark circles around my eyes too. I read about this eye cream called Hylexin, which is supposed to be really good, They call it a "Dark Circle Breakthrough." Just so you know, it's a pretty penny. They say a four to six week supply (.78 oz tube) cost about $95.00. If it makes you feel better, it's backed by a no questions asked, money back guarantee. I suggest that you check out their website listed below. I hope I was a great deal of help to you. Good luck on your quest! After all, you have nothing to lose!

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Try getting some sleep, girl!! Do you sleep with the TV on? If you do, turn it off one night and look at what a difference it makes. You could try buying a sound machine, it plays soothing sounds to help get you to sleep. Drink plenty of
water, you'd be surprised how much better you'll feel all around, and it DOES help with those dark eye circles. In the meantime, try this, or a product like it:

you must be dehydrated AND tired.

try drinking more water.

like 8 8oz glasses a day.

OR 4 regular sized poland spring bottles a day.

because dark circles under the eyes are caused by a build up of toxins under the skin.

and drinking water flushes them out better than sleep even.

St. Ives makes this cucumber gel. I put that on my eyes every night after I wash my face and before I go to bed. Try that. Or just use cucumber slices.
