i am having trouble with this question. i have to solve each equation with the subsitution method.

3(y-1)=2(x-3)
3y-2x=-3

i get as far as y=2x and x= -3/4 am i on the right track? please show how you get to the answer

Do ya'll think that there is an age associated with the harry potter series? I'm 16 and my mom seemed surprised the other day when I said that I liked Harry potter, and asked me if I thought that I was too old for it. What do ya'll think? Is harry potter for little little kids?

The stuff he does is insane, but you actually learn things from watching it, rather than feeling stupider for watching. That guy is awesome! I would highly recommend TiVo-ing that show if you have not seen it.

I got pretty drunk last night, some guy spilled a drink on me by accident and ruined my new top, i then broke my shoe going home............so.......drunkenly.................i cried. and normally i hardly ever cry..... i'm gonna blame in on the gin!!!????

So I think it's time for me to add a kitchenaid mixer to my arsenal of kitchen stuff. Not something I plan on using 24-7, but will be thankful to have it when I need it. Anyway I usually cook for 2-4 people. On some occasions 6-8 people. I plan on using the mixer to make pizza dough, mash potatoes, and maybe some fresh pasta...so maybe whipping it out 1-2 times a month. My girlfriend might use it around the same frequency to make cakes, cookies, and I'm sure we might experiment making bread every now and then.
Anyway, what size & power would you recommend? Artisan, Classic, Accolade, Professional series? what are the pros and cons of using the different bowl loading types? I understand this is one of those purchases that typically lasts forever so I wanna make the right choice...all help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I have been married 12 years. I am 34 she is 33. Three kids. Our relationship has definitely suffered over the past few years. We do not fight much, we do not agree on much, and really we do not talk all that much anymore. I work she stays at home and from 5:30pm to 11pm our worlds cross but certainly do not join. Our relationship has become more of a business agreement centered around raising kids than a personal relationship between two adults. Each of us have the obligatory things we do for each other to keep the peace and the illusion that things have not changed. We do not dislike each other or wish harm or bad things for each other; it is more like there is just a huge void of emotion there. Sex is ok, our money situation is ok, I guess everything is ok. I daydream/fantasy about a relationship where things are new and that “buzz” you get by just being around someone. I AM NOT THINKING OF CHEATING just missing that filling. Any thought or advice?

This girl keep on sending sms and even emails to me and I really can't take it anymore.In the emials contains information where they go for holidays, and their IM. (cant she fake it ?) i know that chris benoit died i am sad about it. he died in the middle of vinces 'death' storyline and so did sensational sherri. but why is it when benoit died vince admitted that him dieing for chris. he could have stopped it like weeks back and have a tribute for her. i love chris benoit as much as the next guy but it was very poor how wwe treated sensational sherris death. sorry i keep saying sensational sherri but i dont know her real name. .is vince respecting the dead because he didnt pay tribute to sensational sherri so it shows how much vince respects the dead. why couldnt he admit it was fake when sherri died???
