That machine should have:
Memory Speed: PC2-4200 (533MHz)
Memory Type: DDR2-SDRAM
You should really pull the case off and double check it though. That machine takes only 2 gb max in 2 slots. It will be a DIMM.

Go to the following web site and download "CPU-Z 140. If it is zipped, unzip it. It will run right from the download file, it does not need to be installed. It will tell you all that you ever wanted to know about your system.

click start
Find the control panel and click on that
look for performance and maintenance...click on that
then look at your total system including RAM and cpu as for the size of the ram it only gives the total and not the number of sticks installed, if any.

Try looking at the manual that came with your computer for specs, or look on the computer manufacturer's support page for your computer model and see if they have specs listed there.
