When the iMac came out... that was the worst.
Mine crashed the first time I scanned a large file and attempted to open it in Photoshop...
Then the machine would not give me back my CD.
The operator on the "help" line would only tell me about the "secret paperclip button" if I agreed to fork over $75 for some kind of maintenance call fee....

Peoples Ipods are now suffering from a lack of security (getting stolen) and Zune is becoming more appealing.

This is complicated but I thought I would ask to see if anyone has any words of advice or paths to follow for my family. My great Aunt was recently diagnosed with cancer and has spent the last couple months in the hospital. My Aunt, who you can't even explain in words, goes to the hospital with a lawyer so my great Aunt will sign the power of attourney over to her and also all of the things in her house. Prior to that, the power of attourney belonged to my great aunt's sister, and everything was to be split between all my Great Aunt's neices and nephews. This isn't an issue of those neices and nephews (one being my dad) getting money and belongings, it's an issue that my aunt would stoop that low, and is now pushing my GreatAunt to death by saying, your not going to make it much longer and there's nothing more to look forward to. My dad is thinking about hiring a lawyer because of the state my great aunt was in when she signed over the power of attourney. Does he have any chance?

Their right-wing, hate filled, sensationalistic, end-of-world rhetoric is doing a lot of harm, and turning a lot of people off.

Do you feel these people are truly of God?

-I honestly wonder if they are the anti-Christ that we are warned of.
- They believe they are of God, they believe they are doing God's work...but, they are not truly furthering his kingdom.
-How many people are being turned away from God because of their judgemental, superior attitudes.
-The God I know is one of mercy, love, grace and justice. This doesn't seem to be the one they talk about.

-How do we battle these people when they have co-opted the term Christian to mean only those that believe as they do? They have co-opted our religions, and our trying to run our government.

-Do we ban with non-believers against the vicious uunGodly ways of the fundamentalists?

is it possible to be angry with God when you are saved? has any one out there been angry with God after a few months a year a few years or even 10 or 20 years. does any one out there know why this takes place. why and how you(I) can get angry with some one who is always there when i call on him when i hurt when i'm sick when i need some one to listen to me. what do you do, do you tell God (he already knows), do you let it eat at you, do you repent the minute you yell at God because your angry? with all honesty how do you handle this? help some one!!!!!!!

I drove my car to work this morning, and it worked just fine. After work, I got in the car and tried to start it and nothing happened. (NOTE: I UNLOCKED THE CAR WITH THE KEYLESS REMOTE) You could barely see any lights on the dash. I got the car jumped and I drove it home. Once home, I turned the car off and tried to start it again. Nothing. So, I took the battery to Auto Zone and the battery tested GOOD. The Auto Zone guy told me to test the alternator by taking of the positive battery cable while the car is running. If the car cuts off, then the alternator is bad. Well, I tried this and the car stayed on! My mom noticed before she jumped the battery that when she pressed down on the top of the battery where the water goes, the car would come on! We put water in the battery but still the car wouldn't start. After jumping yet again, I let it run for about twenty minutes, cut it off, and now it starts right back up. Could it be the alternator or a bad connection??

I can follow the materialists to a point, however, I cannot totally wrap my head around a materialist account of mental states. I don't believe in an immortal soul as my namesake did. But there seems to be a qualitative difference between synaptic connections or C-fiber stimulations and that feeling that I have when eating a nice, juicy steak or downing a tall cold draft beer. Philosophers refer to the experiences that I have when seeing red, tasting beer or steak as qualia. There have been questions on qualia here at YA. I guess I'd just like to know how materialists or physicalists account for qualia or mental states.

why is it that gays and other people are allowed to bash Christianity and other religions, then when anyone opens their mouth to speak their opinion about homosexuals they get verbally harrassed? This school sounds like it has an amazing variety of academic fields. Please don't tell me that the only reason i want to go there is because its in Hawaii that does not matter i go there enough. wtf who wants to pay 500 bucks for a damn phone? check ur email on ur computer! most people who are gonna get iphones probly already have ipods, so why again do they need another mp3 player? and are you really gonna walk around all day surfing the web on a 2 inch screen? thatd totally tear up ur battery power. and i mean 1 time through the wash or u trip and fall and ur boned. that fat brick is a screen, so anywhere it gets smacked its busted. i dunno i just think its a bigass waste of money.
