We came home and my cat had a big patch of bald skin where she had torn out her fur around a little hole. We thought she'd been shot with a pellet gun, but then my sister tried to get it out with tweezers and saw a bug in there! She thinks she squished it with the tweezers, but i want to know what it was!

I am trying to think harder than ever, yet still nothing happens...
I have a Church, a stallion, some priceless lemon lump shavins in a swaggy little bag. My Library is stacked to the roof with theoretical prose and quantum poetry. I have honorary degrees in Cranial Calcification and Quasi-Nuclear Biothermopolly, and I was also a co-inventor of The Hydroponic Deneurolizer model 888.8 v.1.2 (TM). I own a liquor store in Pudunk (GA), a gnat and jigger netting distributorship in Tuscaloosa (AL), a small 5 acre petting zoo in Fiji, and a salt factory in Big Bone Lick (MT)...(for you wiseguys out there, before you start responding with "clever" answers, I do have a vast strip mall in Beaver Lick, MT). I have numerous concubines that worship me and my Church. I have a tax exempt status with both Vogon and US authorities... Yet my life is empty. Is it because I still haven't found theLard or is it because I keep infringing upon copyrights of others?

I've had slight depression for a few years now and finally got up the nerve to actually go talk to someone about it. I really don't want to ask anyone for recommendations because this is private for me. How do I find a good couselor without just picking one out of the phone book , especially when the insurance company is unable to make any recommendations?

Bush is leading the USA further into the actions of a gulag state of terror against the world and its own citizens. No habeus corpus, no rights except those granted by an insane and incompetent president (bush) given counsel by his pet monkey (Gonzales). The USA is the most dangerous laughingstock in the world. It would be pathetic if it was not the greatest destabilizing agent on the planet, led by the greatest most powerful buffoon in its history. BLAME the refined wealthy war hero-coward Kerry for losing to this moron and allowing the USA to spiral downward into the abyss. It will take generations to un-bush the mess that george has brought.

My cat woke me up one night chasing a mouse around the bedroom. I would sit on my bed and watch the mouse as it ran under stuff that was sitting on the floor... I'd pick it up, exposing the mouse, and the cat would run after it.

Then it would sit on the mouse for a while and let it go. I would chase it down and lift up whatever it was hiding under. My cat would then get it and repeat the process.

So, have you ever gone mouse-hunting with your cat?

my coach told me i cannot come back on the team unless i make an appointment with him. i missed a week and a half of practice (practice everyday 'cept sunday) because i have to do summer school. If i dont do well at summer school my dad will not let me play basketball during the reguler season. (right now its the off-season, but we play 20 games) i know i made a commitment but there are things much more important than basketball. im better off doing well in school, so that i can get a good job, then hope to get drafted into the NBA lol.

Seems to me personifying God is degrading the true greatness of God. Saying things like "God wouldn't be happy" or "God is angry" etc., the common religious cliches, are wrong, because God is not a living conscious person in a room full of computer screens controlling things, getting mad at us and creating hurricanes and floods to "teach us lessons". If God is to exist, God is a powerful force, God is the universe, he is everything that surrounds us, we have just yet to realize. All souls are really one, so believing in yourself is the same as believing in God. As a society we have mythified God, when God is more than what we have made him out to be. I am not anti-religion, I was raised by a Christian mother and a Hindu father. Does anyone else share my view on God?

Not a 'once in your life' thing.
For example, you are a good Christian, but you are very envious of some around you. You haven't asked for Gods' forgiveness, but generally you've kept all the other sins, do you still go to Hell? Or, because you've tried very hard to stop sinning the all other sins you will go to Heaven because that's 6 out of the 7 sins?

This passage has me confused....our preacher yesterday said that Paul ordered the church to expel the sinful man - but the way that the passage read, and from what I've cross referenced, it seems he is telling them to kill the man (in Deuteronomy it talks about stoning to death the sexually immoral man)...

1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father's wife. 2And you are proud! Shouldn't you rather have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man who did this? 3Even though I am nophysically present, I am with you in spirit. And I have already passed judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present. 4When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, 5hand this man over to Satan, so that the flesh may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord.
