I have purchased two ceramic heaters and an oil filled heater for use this coming winter. We have a heat pump on our unit and it eats us up in the winter time with heating bills.
The heaters that I bought all have thermostats and can be set at 750 or 1500 watts. I did use the oil filled radiant heater some last year and it seemed to help with the bills but the back rooms were cool so I bought the ceramic heaters to use this coming year.
We have a small 2 bedroom, one bath house. Less than 900 sq feet.

From the middle of May through today (June 23rd), I've been going to the gym every single day. I half run and half walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes (it always adds up to 2.5 mi), i do crunches, this leg excercise where you close and open your legs with weights (i do about 30lbs), and I do other random ones that are around the gym. I also eat a lot of little meals during the day, and i never stuff myself nor do I ever eat fast food/junk food. I started off weighing about 126lbs. Now i'm 124lbs. I lost only 2lbs but I dropped from a size 6 to a size 4 or 2. I'm confused and frustrated with my lack of weight loss.

I find it interesting that Clinton, the Best Conservative President since Eiesenhower ran as a democrat.

And Bush the Biggest TAX and Spend Liberal in history ran as a Redpublican.

Why is everything in Washington so upsidedown?

I just got my hair cut and I have long layers that go down to my arm pits. I was going to buy a round brush to style it with, but there are different sizes. What would be best for me? I have barely wavy hair if that helps.

She died during the month of February and within a month or so we were celebrating Mothers Day (I don't even know what month we celebrate mothers day). On that day, many years ago, I made a vow to never celebrate Mothers Day again or call anyone else MOM. I made this vow as an eleven year old child and I was making it to my mother because I did not want her to be jealous. Now that I am an adult and married. I have a sister who is a mom and I have my mother in law. I have not acknowledged this day with them and I still call my mother in law by her first name. She introduces me to everyones as her daughter. I am trying to get over this feeling I have but am I wrong for refusing to do this? They do not know my feelings towards this because I've never shared it with anyone except you, my fellow Yahoo friends.

Would this be an answer to the shambolic 'over-crowding' of our prisons. Think about it, If we have a referendum on Capital punishment and introduce nightly hard labour for the severe criminals we may have a solution. There are criminals in prison today (such as those non payers of taxes) which let's face it don't need to spend the daytime in jail. So cell sharing with serious criminals who would be smashing rocks through the night, would allow these people to remain at work yet still be punished by having to turn up at prison every evening.

I might be wrong, but should we not explore every idea, rather than simply freeing them early

Three weeks ago, I had an alignment done on a 1997 Saab, 112K mi. I also asked them to straighten the steering wheel since it had been off about 10 degrees ever since I had shocks & springs replaced two years ago. I waited for it and when it was ready, they said they got the steering wheel as straight as possible but I would need to replace the tie rod ends and adjusting screws to get it perfect. Alignment is better, vibration I had is gone and steering wheel is straight. But I just got under it today and noticed that they had completely rounded off the hex area of both screws and damaged several of the threads on one of them. It bothered me because the car is in great shape and I really take care of it. Even if the screws were seized and difficult to turn, is this something I should overlook?

Suppose a national referendum asked the following question:

"Do you support a consititutional ammendmant that affirms that marriage in between one man and one woman"

That would be the question. The goal obviously being to effectively ban same sex unions.

How would you vote?
