I usually wake up around 8-ish. Every other day, I try to push my milage, so I do around 6 or 7 miles. On all of the other days, I have recovery runs that are usually 3-4 miles. Everyone is different, but running in the morning is really good for you and it's a great start to your day! In the beginning, I'd go for maybe a 3 mile jog four times a week. you can work up from there.
GOOD LUCK!!

Once you get started it will get easier and easier. It is cooler, less traffic, and quieter. Start with about 1/2 hour of running and walking. If you are just beginning do more walking than running. It is important to keep it fun.

over half the answer is self-motivation.
it takes a lot to "want to" run in the morning. like want to, but your other half wins.
really think about it.
for me, i think that if i dont run in the morning, its defiantly going to get post-poned in the evening, and i'll probably never even get to it. so i might as well get it over with.
also, i want to be in good shape for the CC season [[fall]].
lastly, its a fantastic way to start off your day! you'll be energetic and active all day. it really makes a difference!

and if you're just *reallllyyyy* sleepy, people made red-bull for a reason =)

Enlist yourself into the armed forces, like I did.

You wont have problem for the next few days.

But if your attitdute not there, no matter what you will get lazier and fatter of course.

Cheers!
