This'll probably get deleted, but who the hell cares, right?

A lot of people responded to my last question (which was a joke, by the by) by saying that it was my fault for getting fired and obviously, I was a lazy, awful worker. This is not true, and frankly, in the p.o.ed state I'm already in, this makes me even more angry. So I'll attempt to defend myself, when I usually wouldn't bother.

I got fired for coming in to work today no more then five minuets late. I walked in, the manager on duty told me it was "unacceptable," then fired me. I'd been a hard, competent worker up until that point. Other managers often praised me for my hard work and dedication to the restaurant. I seriously have no idea why they would fire me over such a small thing, and it makes me really angry.

So there you have it. My humble defense. I know some of you will not believe me, but I know I'm telling the truth, and that's all that matters to me.

I have been friends with this guy for about 10 years since we started college together. He is mostly straight, I am mostly gay. One time like 5 years ago we were drunk and masturbated together while watching porn. We touched each other a little, never talked about it again. Neither of us were dating anyone at the time. Now, it happened yesterday. We had both been drinking a lot, being stupid, wrestling around, but we did play a little with each other. The problem is he has been dating this girl for about a year, and we're all close friends now. Today when I talked to him on the phone he didn't say one word about it, neither did it. Tomorrow we are all hanging out, and I don't know how to act around them. I will be VERY nervous and I feel bad about her not knowing. So, should I just forget it or what?

We are planning to get a new car/SUV soon and we want a fuel efficient one because my sister just got her licens and is now going to drive my moms car. I was thinking about an Escape Hybrid, and my dad has the ok on it because he likes the style and the mpg (31-36 mph), but my mom hates any American made car. I have told her that Ford has now beat Nissan and is equal to Toyota in quality and that they have earned the most awards than any car manufacturer in the world. She still hates Fords and will only choose something Japanese or European. I was also thinking about a Lincoln MKX, which my dad has the ok with that too, but my mom wants the bland looking Lexus RX350. How will I convince her to at least look at a Ford?

When we talk of simple cells or proteins or amino acids as the earliest building blocks of life, is it understood that they all had a source of food or is food unnecessary for these to exist?

How long, if they do require nourishment, could they survive in what might be thought of as a hostile environment?

How did the universe come to be to you? there is a lot of talk about the BIG BANG theory (sorry for the typo in the last one) particles which are matter were here expanded along with energy that helped it (sorry i said explosion in the last one) were did that matter come from since MATTER can't just appear (because scientists proved that) people said God made it (which I believe) but others said, 'where did God come from.' God isn't matter. I think energy was always here but matter isn't energy (as one said matter and enery are two different things.) so what do believers and non-believers think our universe came to be?

-tomorrow we have to go to a family function.
-i said i am not going and my mother in law is going
-reason-at the party there are going to be two girls my mother in law chose for my hubby ( but obviously hubby said no and married me)......one is so rich that she has a bentley(she is 18!) other is a genius (med school)...........
MY MOTHER IN LAW KEEPS ON PUTTING ME DOWN.....she goes oh they have everything...the girl is so smart and rich bla bla bla........
i am sick of her putting me down..
she goes "look at kiera she is so brilliant she is in pre med school and look at u ....u r just going to a state college" ,"look at sara she has a bentley ..look what ur dad( he is justa doctor!) gave just a lexus."

to clarify my hubby is a doctor and she is just an insurance clerk....
what do i do to stop her??
i dnt want my hubby to be involved as he has his own stresses at work....

and those two girls i dnt know how to talk to them...she invited them at dinner on sunday.
