Ouch.. yes... it's sad and I try not to buy from companies that I know employ sweat shops.. that's not always possible as sometimes I don't know about it.. but I do my best.

Shoot, the way things are going down now, I say America needs to put some of the kids we have here to work. Heck, I have six, and it's summer time, no school if they could get jobs including the 1 year old my household would be set, pack them a banana, a peanut butter sandwich and some kool aid. I figure if each of them made minimal wage we would make just enough to cover the water, phone, propane and the electric bill and still have enough for a package of jello and a tv guide. (knowing the 1 year old she would probably get a promotion and a raise and wouldn't even tell me all I will be seeing is all of a sudden she will be having more stuff then the rest of them like Cheetos).

Honestly! I can't afford with my family to stop and wonder about things too hard cause my kids need clothes, shoes, food and shelter and I got to grab what I can afford.

not hypocritical in any respect. certainly it fairly is a ludicrous assessment. You delivered it up not I. If i'm conversing concerning the conflict in Iraq why could I convey something up that has not something to do with it? of direction gang-violence is a difficulty, yet that doesn't undermine the conflict as a difficulty the two.

Do you ever think of the 3rd world children that don't work in sweat shops and die everyday... you know, the ones that movie stars don't pay any attention to because there is no company they can boycot?

It's one of the reasons I boycott Walmart.

I try to shop locally/bioregionally/USA union made when possible. What's sad is it's sometimes NOT possible; there are whole categories of products that simply aren't made in this country anymore, unless you can afford to go VERY high end. Shoes, televisions . . .

yep, very often. Don't forget cell phones, sneakers, 'arabian' rugs and many many more items. Sad.
