absolutely not!!!!! that myth was started in the days when mirrors where a precious item and were exspensive......it was invented to keep the help from breaking them, and keep the help in line with curses and fear....just be carefull picking up the glass and frame work.reflections are a sign of vanity too....and mirrors just upped the anty for the rich and selfish.so be safe, buy another mirror, and have a great weekend...................blessed be

I have probably broken about 5 or 6 mirrors in my life. Nothing catastrophic ever came from it.

People only belive superstitions because of perspective. When they think they are "cursed" they only tend to see the bad events of their life and immediatly blamed it on said "curse." Just keep a positive attitude. If you believe bad things will happen, they will (or at least will seem to.) Shouldn't we all learn to appreciate the good things in life?

mirrors used to be very expensive to make long ago. so a bar owner came up with a saying that if you break one its seven years bad luck so the rowdy customers wouldn't throw the chairs at the mirror and it caught on and now people try not to break them.just in case its true. what he made up.

and also theirs small demons that live in mirrors and if you break one you release them and they will attack you and eat out your . well. anyway i just made that up.

No, you'll just have bad luck for the next 7 years. So, don't buy a lottery ticket for the next 7 years, you won't win.

Take the broken pieces and put them in running water. That negates the bad luck. Pure water (running water) never lets evil or bad things cross.
