is it pointless to run a dehumidifier in my basement when there is a sump pump down there as well ? i cant tell if it's drying up the moisture in the basement or if it's from the sump area, seems like im always dumping the bucket of water, i do have a leak in the basement when it rains, thats why i got it, Thanks

The Office of Vice President Dick Cheney proposed to abolish the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO), the executive branch organization that oversees the national security classification system, after its Director insisted that the Vice President comply with reporting requirements that apply to all executive branch entities.

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee who revealed the move today, said in a letter to the Vice President (pdf) that it "could be construed as retaliation" against ISOO.

I think so! Some US comedy is great - e.g. Spin City, Friends, King of Queens, I all love. But 'My name is Earl' what a load of crap. How can Channel 4 justify this at a prime time evening slot? And how much are they paying for that rubbish!

It would make the enemy more interested in sex than fighting. Air Force's Wright Laboratory in Dayton, OH asked for $7.5 million to develop such a non-lethal chemical weapon. It would contain a hormone that could purportedly turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals. This bomb was proposed in 1994 and dismissed. There's no bomb in production (unless Area 51 is working on one). Had you heard about this back in 1994 and wasn't it very offensive to many people? The government probably should have developed one and used it on the terrorists of the world. The wars would be a thing of the past, in time. What do you think?
