I think so! Some US comedy is great - e.g. Spin City, Friends, King of Queens, I all love. But 'My name is Earl' what a load of crap. How can Channel 4 justify this at a prime time evening slot? And how much are they paying for that rubbish!

Don't turn your telly to the station that it comes on and we'll be just the ones who look @ it.
Enjoy your Red Dwarf, Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served and the others.
We'll enjoy our Rubbish by ourselves.

As I recall, when I got to Denmark the first thing that was on when I turned on the television to watch the news was Jerry Springer. I'd say that beats Earl and just about anything else imported from the states on the rubbish factor hands down.

Randy is one of the funniest characters I have ever seen.
Stop being so formulaic.

Earl on the other hand leaves you feeling good at the end of almost every show
the shows you like make me feel uncomfortable

"My Name is Earl" is one of the funniest shows in years. My boyfriend has a thing for Joy. Maybe you have an attraction to Earl, and you just don't want to admit it, so you are bashing this very funny show!

If you aren't from america you probably won't get that show. I however think it is one of the funniest shows ever made portrays certain parts of the american culture very accurately. Sorry you don't like it King of Queens is good keep watching that.
