Question to Christians...what has Jesus done in your life?

what has He done to change you, make you believe, strengthen your relationship with him, open your eyes to the truth? how did you come to know Him?

Jesus has blessed me with a son a roof over my head great parents and family. Tons of things. I almost died when I was 12 should have. I believe that prayer is the only thing that saved me. I came to know God by attending church. I am not a holy roller and I know this may be hard to believe but I thought I had already accepted Jesus and I had not. I was maybe 14 or so I was at a church function with a puppet and a magician. I was fine when it came time for the invitation (the part where you go to the front to become a member or just to pray) I was crying uncontrollably. I realize at that point that I had not accepted Jesus. I was embarrassed because all of my friends were there and I did not want to go down in front of all of them. Then my legs started to move and I was walking and telling the preacher I needed to accept Jesus. I said a prayer with a man from church admitted that I was a sinner and that no man is perfect except Jesus. I asked him to come into my heart and forgive me of all my sins and live within for the rest of my life. From that day forward I have never doubted my salvation. It is a great feeling you should think about it talk to a preacher or a friend who may know more.

I think that Believing in Jesus (and everything else that goes along with that fact) is the only thing that keeps me living and wanting to do good in life. The only reason I don't go yelling at people and slapping anyone who disagrees with me is because Jesus is there and I know that this life will soon be over and I won't have to worry about it being the end of everything. Knowing that I have eternity to spend with Jesus lets me be a better person, it helps me have hope, even when I think that everything and everyone in this world hates me. Having Jesus in my life helps me see the good in things and all the things I take for granted are all of a sudden gifts from God to me.


Hope is one of the greatest advantages I have from meeting Jesus. Hope and gratefulness.

I do not have the space to write it all out. Christ has done so much for me, more than I know.

I came to know Christ by calling upon Him. One Friday night, I was invited to a church by a local youth pastor. I was going to meet new friends, but instead found God. While there, I debated with them for over 2 hours. At one point I said, "I know I am going to Hell. What I don't get is where you people get off thinking your going to Heaven?" Alas, at the end of it, they asked if I wanted to pray at the altar. I stepped forward feeling like a fool. While praying, I asked Jesus to save me and in that moment He changed me. Afterwards, He entered my life and has made it full.

I have many, many experiences of Jesus working in my life. He has blessed everything from my relationships to having an inner peace. Jesus is great!!

I always felt as if something was missing. When I met my hubby his family was christian I always thought they were jugdemental and all the other sterotypes, but the more I got to know them the more I realized they were wounderful people that had this light about them. They showed me the truth and I realized I wanted that in my life. Since I was saved I have this peace in my heart I have this completion. I also was always scared of death and now I am not at all I understand it and I know what will happen.

Jesus has done so much for me, and my family. He blessed my family in so many ways, its crazy. People say stuff to my parents like, your lucky, you have good luck. But my mom always tells them, it's all the blessings from the lord. He provided all of it, if it wasnt for him, giving us faith and everything, then were would we be? it's so insane how people think we evolved from monkeys or dolphins, cause i sure dont look like an animal! HAHA

I was going through a really bad few months after my dad died in Dec last year. I was really down, and felt like my world came to an end. One night I said a short prayer, and ask God to tell my dad goodnight, and that I love him and miss him very much. That night I dreamt about my dad, and he sat me down took my hands and told me that he loves me very much and that he is very proud of me and that he is very happy very he is right now, and I shouldn't worry anymore.

I felt so real, it didn't feel like a dream, I believe that God alowed my dad to talk to me one last time, and that changed a lot for me. That brought me back to God again.

I think that being a Christian incurrs that you have to striv to be a good person.
You've got to try to be like Christ, therefore causing you to get rid of negative influences, and makking you a nicer person overal.
Or at least that's what true Christians are supposed to do.

Well...i didnt use to belive in him before.Whenever something bad happend with me i always used to tell him how mean he is for not helping me.But like i said,i didnt know god at that time.Then he send an angel(paster)for me and told me that god is watching me and cares about me and also told me that i need to pray(since i was going through so much and the paster knew about everything in my life)So since that day(i rememeber it was last year September 7 i started praying.)i started to have faith in my god and just today one of my prayer has been answered and im just soo thankful to god for EVERYTHING!! Praise The Lord!!!!

Saved me and gave me eternal life. I asked Him to come into my life and He did. He gave me a love for His Word the Holy Bible and the Bible is like food to me. I must eat and I must read the Bible. Both fulfill and sustain me.
