A lot of people are named Shelby. Most of them after Carroll Shelby of the Shelby Cobra fame.
It is a name, no more no less. It is a good name, and easy to pronounce and spell, so I have no problem with it. The main thing is that you like it. Good luck, Shelby

honestly, i don't like it. my best friend's annoying cat is named shelby. but i disliked it before i met the cat.
