Is it ok for non-Catholics to wear saint medals?

Any Catholics here? My mom is Catholic, and gave me a couple of her saint medals (St. Christopher and St. Anthony) after my apartment was robbed and all my jewelry was taken. I have worn them a couple of times, but wear them for looks mostly because I'm not Catholic and don't pray to saints. I'm Presbyterian, though lately when I go to church, I go with my mom (to a Catholic church). I'm trying to decide if Catholicism is right for me.

So is it ok to wear saint medals, or pray to the saints? I went to Catholic school and remember learning a prayer to St. Anthony, but forget how it goes. My mom says you don't need to say a specific prayer, and swears by her St. Anthony medal to find lost stuff. I wouldn't say I don't believe in saints; Catholicism is so different than what the Presbyterian Church teaches, that I'm still trying to sort out how I feel about the various beliefs. I like my medals, but don't want to do anything sac-religious. Is there a rule on this?

What do you think the world would be like if the majority of people in the word were mentally retarded, just enough so that if someone who was not retarded made a mean joke about them The retarded person wouldn't get it and wouldn't care.

Personally I hope this is the next step in evolution :)

Good Plan...?

On weekdays, in the morning, I do about an hour of physical activity. I alternate between jogging and yoga and strengthening exercises. On Saturday mornings, I walk about 3 miles. I have small meals every three hours (like a bowl of cereal, a sandwich, etc.)

Is this an efficient plan?

can you still contract genital herpes when using a condom?

I have a friend who says you can still get genital herpes from someone who has it even if you are using protection. I thought if this was true then there would be even more ppl with the virus. Can this happen? and if there is a chance of this happening what are the chances of getting it when using protection?

How do you feel about the Immigration reform?

I, think all undocuments should be given status in the USA. They pay taxes regardless what you have been informed, are hard worker, are doing jobs US citzen won't do or care to do.

If you add parts of a motorcycle from a different year to yours does it make the bike have a salvage title?

I was lookin at a bike with a salvage title and he added the front end from a 99 to his 97 and said that made it a salvage title.

Unfaithful Chat?

How to hook up a washing machine?

I just want to hook up a new washing machine where my old one used to be. It looks easy enough but I cant get the old hoses off the water faucets or off the back of the old machine. Is there a trick to this or a special tool needed? My husband is in Iraq so Im trying to do this alone!
