Advantages;

1. This is the best catagory cos it's fun
2. We aren't all that serious which makes it a more free catagory
3. We are devoted entirely to the q&a side of things cos no one is gonna beat judas rabbi, so there is no need to play 4 points here! LOL

Disadvantages

1. We get a lot of people such as Rico, etc you get the point who ruin this for us
2. There are an increasing amount of people who ask for 100 answers or ask 'Star this question' which i personally don't really like
3. There are a lot of arguments here, most noticeably the argumant between P&S and R&S, just a thought

Anyways what do you all think of P&S? What are your views on the catagory as a whole?

I've been only married with my husband for 6 months and already he's been verbally abusing me and sometimes being physical already. I am 5 months pregnant with his first child, but he constantly blames me for everything, even if its not my fault, which causes me to be insecure with myself, and he gets even more upset when that happens... Help, is it my fault why he's acting this way with me? How can i stop it. I tried leaving him for one night and yet he didn't realize anything, i was the one who went running back to him.

I feel like I have been taken advantage of by my previous landlord in which I lived in a building for a year (last year) with numerous violations including:

-random repair men walking in my bedroom without knocking or notice
-not making repairs
-mold on walls
-no smoke detector/fire alarm
-landlord let a homeless man sleep in basement in exchange for maitenance work like painting etc
-rungs missing in fire escape
-main door broken for weeks on end, allowing anyone from the street to walk in to the building

she withheld my security deposit because of "cleaning the entire apartment" (which was never done, and attested by the current renters), and "storage fee" which she never informed me of, and "wall damage" which there is none and she never showed me what was "damaged."

i am so lost and have no idea what to do. im not trynig to sue for thousands, i just want my security deposit back... i am a poor college kid...

I have always used the fact that animals and humans share almost identical bodies to prove the existance of evolution. From the genetic code to most of the chemicals in the body, to the cells and their function; to the organ structures and their function are identical, certainly in mammals and even in other types of animals. So if God did create the world as in Genesis then it used the same template with slight variations for the different types of animals.

My husband just got a job working right outside New Orleans, but I really don't want to live that close to the area. Anybody have any good locations that would be drivable for him, but still far enough away from the actual city? We were looking at Gonzales but I haven't really heard any great things about that area. Any help is definitely appreciated.

This guy i know at my sports center is always teasing me in a nice way that makes me laugh at myself, and saying nice things to me too, and keeping his eye on me and likes to stand up close behind me. One day at lunch there was a bunch of us eating and he wouldn't talk to me. He didn't even look at me till someone else talked and then he joined in. talks about divorcing his wife. I don't say anything as i don't want to be party to any of that but i am just wandering if he really likes me or just flirting for his ego. He asks me questions and we find we have so much in common. I feel all nice when he is around. I find i can open up with him in a way i can't with other men. I feel so comfortable and he even said he feels he has known me a long time though we just met 5 months ago. what is going on in his head..i know, i know...who really knows, but you know..i just want some speculation and thoughts and maybe some one has had these things going on inside of them too and can clue me in..

I cannot believe that people are that stupid or mentally ill. Either way, don't you believe that sometimes the death penalty prevents these kinds of crimes. This was a story from Washington state.

There should be rights specifically associated with citizenship.

Non-citizens (whether illegal or legal) should not have the same rights. They should not be entitled to benefits of our government.

I say let people come to the country. Let them pay taxes for 10 YEARS before they can become citizens. Before that if they make even ONE mistake regarding our laws--go back to where you came from.

All my life i was brought up that god was real, and jesus was our savior, and we should pray, and go to church, i even went to catholic school for several years (though i have no religious affiliation) But i just cannot beleive. I have had a life as such that it seems that if there was a higher being, he is toying with me, having fun with my life. Whenever i get something nice, it is ripped away from me. This applies to most things in my life at one point or another. I consider myself agnostic, beleiving in SOME form of high power, weather it be ghosts, aliens, or something alltogether different, but i find it hard to beleive in a "god" that would let such things happen to generally good people. I also find it hard that some people can actually be rewarded for being wicked. My sister is a HORRIBLE person, she does drugs, drinks, is a homosexual, and does tons of other bad things, including pick on me ALL the time, but she has EVERYTHING. How can i accept a god that allows this?

I've been to Minneapolis. For a big city, it was very nice - compared to other big cities like Chicago or St. Louis. It is thought for someone I know to move there. Should they and is nice to live in?
