Currently I'm debating between the Orion SkyQuest XT6 classic and the Celestron Starhopper 8 Inch Dobsonian. The SkyQuest XT6 is about a $100.00 less than the Starhopper on most websites, but it's 6 inches, as opposed to Celestron which is 8 inches and better quality, apparently. The Celestron is also capable of astrophotography, which I can see myself doing on my spare time.

Which would be the best decision as an amateur astronomer? Also, any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I've noticed that when it's cloudy & not that warm outside that they are hard to catch. Is that a coincidence it does it need to be sunny and hot for them to bite?

What constitutes financial incompetence? Does filing bankruptcy (with 10,000 in a reposessed car, and 3K on a credit card-thats it) automatically put me in the 'financially incompetent' category? Can I still file a bankruptcy (like so many other people do) without any reprocussion from SSDI or the V.A.? I pay all my bills on time, I always have atleast 1K in my bank account. There are only 2 creditors in the world that are after me. Is there any way that I can be considered financially incompetent simply by filing a bankruptcy. Is there a 100% clause where you file bankruptcy and your automatically 100% incompetent?

I currently have 1x512 MB DDR2 533 MHz RAM.
Am planning to upgrade it to either 1 GB or 1.5 GB RAM...i have 2 options....

Add 1x512MB ( Total system mem becomes 1 GB and runs in dual channel mode)

OR

Add 1x1GB ( Total system mem becomes 1.5 GB but will run in single channel mode)

My usage is general work related applications like oracle/ visual studio and some 3d/video stuff....
besides am also a gaming enthusiast ;)...though not a hardcore gamer....

Pls recommend which option would be suitable for my machine and my usage....will the dual channel 1gb give better performance than 1.5 gb single...if yes then by what percentage ?

Doctors say they want to have the stem cell research done for purpose of saving life. But is that true? It may be true, but it is to save life to the rich.

Just remember they said the same about HIV and CANCER. And you also see that to get access to the medication to help people to deal with it are very expensive. At the end doctor just want to make money.

As they say, they boat of a doctor is the bankruptcy of a patient.

What is your opinion about it? Do you Really think doctors wanna just help or make money?

I have a 2002 bmw 525i. When the car is on second position I hear almost like a bird chirping from the glove back ever 10 to 15 seconds. I think it is a relay that is getting stuck but I have no idea where the relay box would be on my car.

im only 14 im scared please help! i think i might be depressed does anyone know? i feel really tired all the time and even the tiniest thing takes so much effort to do. i feel alone even though i know that lots of people care about me and are here for me, and sometimes i just cry for no reason. some days i feel like i cant get up because im too worn out with life and there is nothing to get up for. once i was coming back from school and i panicked and couldnt breathe and my heart was beating really fast and i thought i would die... is that a panic attack? even when good things happen i feel sad because im scared the good things will be taken away from me. i think im going crazy, please help me! im not close to my family and im scared to see a doctor, what should i do?
