is somehow amazing? If I write a work of fiction I can claim anything I want. If my work of fiction is based on older myths, I can refer to those older myths!

So if you write a story about someone who's fulfilling prophecies, guess what? Your character will do that! How is that surprising or proof of anything?

Fusion reactions require a huge amount of energy to be initiated, but how did the sun get this in the beginning? There has to be SOME other source giving out that huge energy...but if so, what game THAT source the energy to begin fusion reactions?

My uncle is in the hospital with heart failure & many other health problems. His chances of survival are not good and he (as well as our family) is aware that his days may be numbered. He's called an attorney into his hospital room to update his will so he is realistic about his odds. He is 9 hours away so I cannot get to see him quickly. However, I want to do something nice for him and his wife. I am already sending him a "thinking of you/praying for you card" but want to do something more. It's just difficult to think of anything. Since he is in a hospital, he's on a strict diet, so I can't send a food basket or any other kind of edible treat. He's a very "man's man" so he would not appreciate flowers or balloons. I'm just stumped as to what I can do to let them know I care without making them feel like I'm trying to say "goodbye. I don't think you're going to make it". Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i'm 17. i've been with my bf for 2 years. they've never approved of me. they're rich and i'm certainly not. but he loves me to death. they think i'm a liar because in the very beginning i would sneak to see him, beings that i was only 15 and i wasn't supposed to have a bf. we are supposed to have a talk, my bf and his parents, some time soon. i need to know how i can make them like me. i know i'm a good person. i know i'm right for their son. but they have been very mean to me through time. they've tried to destroy us, so theres bitter feelings. how can i just make this go smoothly??? i want them to approve of our relationship..

I am married mother of 3 children, the first from a previous relationship and 2 from my now husband. My MIL has never been one to like me although we have tolerated each other. My hubbys brother got married 4 days after we did to a girl with a boy that is the same age as my oldest. They have 3 children too, one from her previous and 2 from my BIL. Now there are 2 step gchildren and 4 bio gchildren. My MIL constantly leaves my oldest child out. Always refering to BIL kids as her grandchildren and our children as a step Grandchild and two grandchildren. The last straw came a couple weekends ago she took my two youngest children and her other 3 grandchildren along with her other DIL and had pictures made of the 5 kids together, she never called and asked for my oldest. She didnt tell us that she done it. Someone just happened to see her there and told me about it. Now she thinks she didnt do anything wrong. How should I handle this? I dont want her around them if there is no fairness

he is a media sensation, and a fresh face. Why is he stagnant in the polls? I mean Romney on the other side is moving up significantly. He is ahead in Iowa, New Hampshire, Utah, Michigan and California. He came in with hardly any name recognition. Romney went the way of a mass advertising blitz. And its paying off. While Obama went the old school grass roots style campaign, and no results seem to have occured.

Ok so I have 12 fish in my tank, along with a few other things (snails, loaches, frogs, etc.). I have two fish that are food hogs, and pretty overweight. Is there anything I can do? (The other fish get food, but these two guys are really getting fat, it can't be healthy?)

It tells me that the city of Los Angeles does not respect the local, state, and federal laws when it comes to white celebrity (socialite) inmates. I don't care if they put her right back in. The mere fact that she was let out says enough.

I think everyone involved should be fired and Paris should serve a year in jail with the general population in there.
