why isn't obama moving up in the polls'?

he is a media sensation, and a fresh face. Why is he stagnant in the polls? I mean Romney on the other side is moving up significantly. He is ahead in Iowa, New Hampshire, Utah, Michigan and California. He came in with hardly any name recognition. Romney went the way of a mass advertising blitz. And its paying off. While Obama went the old school grass roots style campaign, and no results seem to have occured.

I really don't think we've gotten passed the "Beauty Contest" phase of the coming Election cycle- yet. The polls change on a whim...-& nobody's really taking the the races that seriously. People are getting USED TO Obama running alongside of all the others- & they're seeing how HE compares alongside the virtues of the others. With so much competition to divide up, people are going to take their time- figuring out who they'll choose in the Primaries, starting next Winter. It may take until Christmas- before we REALLY get a "feel" for who's doing well, & why. Til THEN, sit back- & see what happens. For a "newbee", Barack is doing just fine. :)

In this country he wasnt going far to begin with...even though the grass roots big money still giving him cash and he's still a black guy even though he'll just work to hurt the little man &woman, it's what the job calls for

I would guess likely it is because he is African American and Muslim. Doesnt bother me really if someone is either or and people need to be judged for other matters. I am a republican so I would not have voted for him anyway.

the time will tell. maybe because he needs to make extra efforts to gain the trust.
