Artists themselvs generally had patrons and so didn't have to worry about money. But people like me who are intense lovers of art but not artists themselves have a problem.

The modern world favors the fast-paced, the cold, hard, and practical . Heartless administrative red tape and material ambitions.

I escape to the realm of art (primarily jazz and classical music, but also poems and short stories of the Romantic and Victorian era) and feel wonderfully alive, but when the music fades, it's back to the aforementioned unlivable reality.

I was watching NBAs greatest games on NBATV, it was 1983 Sixers/Lakers Game 6 and 1978 Sonics/Bullets Game 5, and it seemed like they played so much faster than they play today, even in the 4th quarter, I mean those guys were flying up and down the court, what do you think?

If he is found guilty, I think that the very least he should be disbarred and never, ever, ever practise any kind of law ever again anywhere.

But if he really is guilty of knowingly withholding evidence and knowingly falsely accusing people of a horrible crime, then he should be held criminally liable and should go to jail.

i want to know why every time i say a guy is unattractive and overrated via fame, people say i am "jealous"

why would i be jealous of a guy who i think is ugly exactly?

Surely if i was jealous i wouldnt say that i find david beckham, brad pitt, randy orton, ryan phillippe, john cena, and travis fimmel handsome would i?

surely if i was jealous, i would say they are all ugly

as it is the guys i say are overrated are guys like mcfly and prince william, who clearly are 10 times less attractive than the guys i just mentioned

so the fact i say guys are handsome kind of defeats the jealousy analogy when i say a guy is ugly doesnt it?

so my question is, how cna i be jealous of guys when i say guys are good looking?

many christians tell atheists that that they too were once skeptic, but now they believe.
i think that very few people who were once skeptical but now are believers were very well versed and passionate about understanding conflicting arguments concerning christianity in the first place.
