i want to know why every time i say a guy is unattractive and overrated via fame, people say i am "jealous"

why would i be jealous of a guy who i think is ugly exactly?

Surely if i was jealous i wouldnt say that i find david beckham, brad pitt, randy orton, ryan phillippe, john cena, and travis fimmel handsome would i?

surely if i was jealous, i would say they are all ugly

as it is the guys i say are overrated are guys like mcfly and prince william, who clearly are 10 times less attractive than the guys i just mentioned

so the fact i say guys are handsome kind of defeats the jealousy analogy when i say a guy is ugly doesnt it?

so my question is, how cna i be jealous of guys when i say guys are good looking?

No wonder people call you jealous, you're so full of random hatred for certain famous guys.
You can be jealous of individuals. If you admire the more conventionally nice looking ones like Brad Pitt, don't find them offensive .... then you wouldn't react negatively to them.
Perhaps you would be "envious" of them, but not jealous. Jealous is associated with negativity.

Most people just say it when they can't think of any other come back though. So ignore them.

It all comes down to a matter of opinion. Very few people can really be seen as ugly, especially young famous ones.

Some do that too - say I'm jealous when I tell them some girl isn't good looking. The only reason why I said anything about her was because my opinion was asked (if it wasn't, I'd keep my mouth shut) and the only reason why I said she's not pretty is because I really think she's not pretty.

Don't get too worked up on what people say.

More than likely whoever told you you were "jealous" was just teasing you and seeing how you would react. I see no problem with a guy saying another guy is a good looking cat, but I know someone would automatically think "oh god, he's gay". Just don't stress about it, if someone says it again, just ignore them, they just want to get you to react.

well saying a guy looks ugly and youre a guy doesnt mean youre bi....its just saying hes ugly and maybe if you hang out with the right people then you can say "he must get a lot of girls they way he's looking...i'm jealous"
