I like that name, but I also like Serenity Meadow.....what one sounds nicer together? Any suggestions on a girl name that flows well with Meadow? Thanks

Our son's name is Maximus, so I like the way the names sound. "Maximus and Meadow time for dinner!"

lol....I like your honesty. When I lived in England, there was this town called Lydney , in the Gloucertershire county. When ever I drove through the town I simply loved the sound of the name. Maximus was born in England and the midwife said I hope you have a boy because I don't like the name Lydney...lol so that is where that name came from. My family likes Sydney better then Lydney anyway!

When I first read Lydney, I thought it was Lyndsey (ew). I'm not the type of person who likes invented or weird names, but I think that Lydney is a beautiful name, especially with the story attached. I wouldn't listen to people who are suggesting Sydney instead -- have you ever even been to Australia? Maybe you wouldn't even like Sydney! You have been to Lydney, though, and you're comfortable naming your daughter after it, and I think you should go for it.
I wouldn't like Meadow as a first name (too "far out"), but I love it as a middle name. Lydney Meadow sounds beautiful.
Serenity Meadow sounds like a feminine hygiene product or a home for the elderly, as so many others have observed. I also don't like Serenity as a first name. I like it sometimes as a middle name, but not paired with Lydney.
If people talk you out of using Lydney, maybe try Lindy? Reminds me of a swing dance (the Lindy Hop).

I don't like Lydney and Serenity Meadow sounds like an old folks home or a fragrance of a female hygiene item.
I do like Meadow, but maybe with a non descriptive more common middle name.
I actually like Meadow Brooke.
