LAREDO, Texas - Three National Guardsmen assigned to the Texas-Mexico border were accused of running an immigrant smuggling ring after 24 immigrants were found inside a van that one of them was driving, a U.S. attorney said Monday.

The three, arrested late Thursday and Friday, were arraigned Monday on a federal charge of conspiring to transport illegal immigrants.

Pfc. Jose Rodrigo Torres, 26, and Sgt. Julio Cesar Pacheco, 25, both of Laredo, and Sgt. Clarence Hodge Jr., 36, of Fort Worth, were arrested near Laredo.

A Border Patrol agent found 24 illegal immigrants inside a van Torres was driving along Interstate 35 near Cotulla, Texas, about 68 miles north of the border, prosecutors said. Torres was in uniform at the time of his arrest Thursday.

The van was leased by the National Guard, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Prosecutors accused Hodge of helping Torres pass through a Border Patrol checkpoint on the highway by making it look like the two were conducting Guard business.

I need to lose some weight around my stomach that's been stuck there since my last kid. he is now 16 months old. I want to get back in shape like i was before i had him but never had to work out before this. My brother got her a gym membership for christmas that i have not used yet but am going to very soon. They have Zumba classes..exactly what is this? will it help tone my stomach?

Three months since i saw my ex. She had tears in her eyes and i wanted to stay maried to her.She divorced me.I senced a great deal of conflict within her. I know we shared a strong bond and comittment.But she says her head rules her heart and its what is best for her. I can't stop looking at the pictures,torturing myself.I want to hold her again and tell her everything will be allright,but shes gone now and im left with with memories and loss.I don't understand and look for answers.The way she looked at me,the way she loved me.And now its like it never happened,she never was.I hope she has a place for me in her heart.We wanted to grow old together.And i feel i will never be able to let her go.Its a empty sad feeling thinking the rest of your life is going to be this way.

i was married for 10 years and i hear over and over from guys that once you get married it all changes and the woman stops wanting it.......well in my case that was never true.....we had sex a minimum of 3 times a week the entire marriage.......so i want to know what makes it change or if it really does since it never did for me

I would just like to know why so many people think that teenagers who have cell phones, posh cars, designer clothes...etc are spoilt? I have a friend whose father owns a company and whose mother is a forensic psychologist. Due to that, he owns a bmw z5, always wears designer clothes and has all the gadgets a teen guy would want. but he is very kind, generous, well mannered and very respectful. But there has been alot of stereotyping that teenagers who drive the latest cars and wear designer clothes are spoilt which i dont think is the case for some teenagers.

ScareCrow from Contech keeps animals out with a wide spray, too wide, and that would prevent my cats from enjoying their own yard. I just need to route the sprinklers around the perimetry of the wooden privacy fence so when the motion sensor(s) detect them approaching the fence they will get dowsed at about 3 to 4 ft in from the fence and go back into the yard and stay home. I have contacted irrigation companies here in San Antonio but no reply yet on the motion-sensory activated part of what I want, just the sprinkler/irrigation part. I have seen motion sensors that turn on lights, open garage doors, close curtains, but other than ScareCrow I have not seen any information about tripping a sprinkler system. I have even thought about the produce section misting systems that come on intermittently. Any ideas would be very welcome.

There are many ways to create electricity. They are Coal, Nuclear, Natural gas, Petroleum, Solar, Tide(wave), Wind, and Geothermal.
Because we have such a Global problem with the way we currently create power, causing global warming, I start to think that there has to be another way to power everything. I was thinking what is the largest power source known to man. The sun...Yes but only half of the earth is in its light at on time. So solar is not the answer. What else does the sun do for us?
It causes Gravity, which affects everyone on earth 24 hr a day. Now all we would have to do is harness the energy from gravity.
So here my idea, is it possible to harness gravity through the ocean, not through the waves but by the deep pressure at large depths. Because the water pressure is so great at hundreds of feet into the ocean, one could harness this simply by releasing this pressure. Done by piping the high pressure water to an area of lower pressure, such as the surface.
