The short answer is that there is no way to tell how many exactly. And there’s too much on this subject to put here to clarify that statement.

Yet, at the same time, there is and will be only one Antichrist.
The one Antichrist will be a man of supernatural charisma and power, as far as I have learned.

According to scripture anyone who does not acknowledge that God became a man has the spirit of the anti-christ (see John Chapter 4). Also, anyone who claims to be Christ is an anti-christ. (see Matthew Chapter 28) So, there is a way to use scripture to test if someone has an anti-christ spirit.

The Book of John Chapter 4

Verse 1,2 and 3
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

The Book of Matthew Chapter 28:

Starting in verse 3.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

I am giving a scriptural answer because it would not make sense to use any other source to give info about this subject since it is scripture that was the start and is the source of this doctrine.

I have the impression that eight percent of people have some sort of spirituality. I wanted to start a group to discuss religion and got no takers. When I said one on spirituality, I seem to recall it being almost unanimous for it. Now you can say that many people who have a sense of a higher consciousness or power may deny Christ, but spirituality is still a sign of our times and potentially a good sign. I kind of think we have evolved mentally and that there won't be many anti-Christs, even the Muslims and many Eastern religions respect him and the prophets. There is a time to be narrow in our definitions and a time to realize the plasticity and limitation of words. Important, but so is the spirit. Atheist seem to be anti-Christ, but it's not a religion and they can flip if they see evidence. Some are the finest people I know. In other word, not many. You would have to be against anything good.

There are many antichrists as seen in the following verses.

" Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." 1 John 2:18

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." 2 John 1:7

Many.

1 John 2:18
18 Young children, it is the last hour, and, just as YOU have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists; from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour.

The bible just uses antichrist as a collective term to refer too all those that:

Deny Jesus is the Messiah
Deny Jesus is the son of God
Those who apostatize the truth faith
Those who are against the followers of Jesus
People and Nations that are against Christ and falsely call themselves the Mesiah

They are numberless. Using the Knowledge bestowed on me by God through his word, there have been many Anti-Christs. MY OWN OPINION NOW! I believe that an Anti-Christ is anyone that tries to mislead people from God's word through Violence, Corruption and YES even Death. We have had them all down through the History of the World. Just because you do not believe in God does not make you an Anti-Christ. The Bible tells us though, that one day THE Major Anti-Christ will rise to world dominance. People will receive his Mark upon their foreheads and he will eventually lead them all against his people. (Mass Genocide) It has been done before, and History does indeed repeat itself.

I'm not an anti-Christ, I just want people to think about religion before they choose. People believe things without even thinking. I have read the Bible and think it's a load of Crap. I have chosen Wicca. but if some people want to count me as an anti-christ then cool..

There is but one anti-Christ. You will know who he is by his actions when he comes on the scene. They are documented in the book of Revelation. You do not need to be religious. You may eve be an atheist. Either way, if you read and comprehend the book of Revelation. You will know.

The bible says anyone who denies Jesus has come in the flesh has the "spirit" of the antichrist. It says, there are many antichrists.

There will be, at some point in the future, one particular man who will rise to great power on earth. He will be known as the antichrist. He will at one point demand to be worshipped as God. He has not yet come on the world scene. He may, however, be alive today.
