I am starting a masters in Chinese studies in September, but have been unable to secure any funding as no one wants to fund an MA in Chinese studies (which to me seems odd with all the current emphasis on China). I have an option to do it part time, but the course is quite intense, even part time. Another option is a CDL, however I just hear negative reviews of them and people just seem to suck their breath in when I mention it.
I mainly need help to cover fees (£3000) because I've worked and saved a fair bit this year. But argh! I don't know. I really want to do this MA and worked my **** off to put myself through my undergraduate degree.
Would appreciate any words of wisdom and people's experience of CDLs

Hello, I've asked before, but I need help again. I have a 3 year neutered male cat, Oliver. He is a really rough cat. He bites hard, even people. My parents are afraid of him! I recently rescued a 2 month old female kitty from the street, Penny. I keep them apart, because i thought Oliver would kill her. Gradually I started introducing them. To my surprise, they didn't hiss etc., but they started "playing". The problem is Penny disturbs Oliver, by playing with his tail. Then Oliver gets angry and grabs her and bites her hard and kicks her with his back legs until I save her. This is getting worse and worse. Now he chases her, like he chases his toys, and grabs her to bite her. And stupid little Penny just loves him and goes back for more, but he really hurts her when he gets rough and I save her every time. So, the question is, will they get along or will Oliver kill her? Because I think he is playing, but he gets rougher all the time and it looks as if he's playing with a mouse!

Assuming that grades were no object, and anyone could be admitted to such programs, do you think that any or most average people could conclude them successfully?

(I ask this because in my country, unlike others, it is easy to be placed in an engineering program...)

I have an at home business which seems to be going well, but I want to promote it even more. I would like to go from breaking even to making a profit. I also have a website to promote. I am the type of girl who has never had a boyfriend, and am completely inexperienced at flirting with boys, even though I am 19!! I avoid all eye contact, and limit my conversations to yes or no answers. Normally, I am a funny and witty person, but whenever I talk to guys I think are attractive or cute, I freeze up. Recently, I started liking one of my good friends, and was surprised to find that he was hitting on me one night. I know that he was trying to make a move on me, but everything he tried, I deflected it. It is not because I was trying to play hard to get. I just don’t know what to do when I am in that type of situation. I know that I should have been excited that he liked me, but instead I was a freaked out. Now I do not know what to do when I am around him. Any suggestions? I want to start something with him, but am so terrified that it will ruin our friendship. What would you do to show that you are still interested, but still play it safe in case he isn’t any more?

Lets face it, the tour will have to end and their fame will start the downwards spiral. Also i think the media would give them more of a grilling for being irresponsible in the first place.

Or do you think that in a couple of years you will be watching 'true movies' with the 'McCann Story' lol some american cheesy film.

I think its time they end the charade and just go and pick Maddie up from where ever they left her.
