Hello, I've asked before, but I need help again. I have a 3 year neutered male cat, Oliver. He is a really rough cat. He bites hard, even people. My parents are afraid of him! I recently rescued a 2 month old female kitty from the street, Penny. I keep them apart, because i thought Oliver would kill her. Gradually I started introducing them. To my surprise, they didn't hiss etc., but they started "playing". The problem is Penny disturbs Oliver, by playing with his tail. Then Oliver gets angry and grabs her and bites her hard and kicks her with his back legs until I save her. This is getting worse and worse. Now he chases her, like he chases his toys, and grabs her to bite her. And stupid little Penny just loves him and goes back for more, but he really hurts her when he gets rough and I save her every time. So, the question is, will they get along or will Oliver kill her? Because I think he is playing, but he gets rougher all the time and it looks as if he's playing with a mouse!

please keep in mind that Oliver is a huge and rough animal, even the vet is afraid of him, and he's not used to having other animals around.

Think of it like a brother and a pain in the butt little sister If there is no blood or broken bones leave them be Penny won't get around Oliver if he was really hurting her but at the same time you need to quit breaking it up because Penny needs to learn when Oliver has had enough. I have two cats male and female that where about the same age as yours are when I brought them together and now 3 years later they still play that way and that hard but they both learned when the other has had enough and it is time to stop but they learned it because I needed to let them set there own boundaries with each other

as long as he doesn't seem to be giving Penny any serious injuries, then I wouldn't worry about it. Cats love to play. They play with each other by kicking, biting, chasing, , pouncing, etc etc. That's natural. If Penny keeps going back for more, she obviously doesn't feel threatened. Just keep an eye out. Maybe as Penny gets older and stronger, she'll be able to keep up her end better. She'll probably learn how to play rough His way. LIke a girl I knew. She grew up playing football and wrestling with her boy cousins that were 6 years older than her. By age 6 she could hold her own in a football game with 12 year old boys. Her first day of 1st grade (age 6) she TOTALLY beat up a 6th grader who picked on her, not realizing she was used to wrestling with big boys. She's pretty hilarious. Mega tom-boy. She's 18 now and only 5'3 and 99 lbs (very petite). But all the guys that know her know she can totally kick their butt. LOL. 2 or 3 supposedly all-male school athletic teams (baseball and basketball) have made exeptions to get her on the team. She's that good at sports.

They are def gambling! They are soo lovely. I have four cats. a million we now have had for practically 15 years. We needed to placed his brother to sleep three or four years in the past. They have been literal brothers. two weekends previous to Christmas this final yr we have been @ PetsMart and followed three junior cats. They are round 6 months olde and a pair of of them are muddle friends and the opposite one used to be within the equal foster dwelling so we did not desire to separate them up. The three junior cats are always gambling like yours all day lengthy too. It's simply what they do. It's a lot more severe once they do combat. Thankfully none of ours ever have. Hope you're having fun with your two kittens and desire this helped

just see if ur penny yells out in pain after oliver bits her , or if u can find any wounds better seperate them , maybe u should raise the little cat for a while seperatly and introduce to him , so both would be mature to behave.

My cats are the same way, but the both of them are around the same age and same size. Maybe you should keep Penny away until she gets a bit bigger and less mouse-sized.

Your kitten should be fine. If he hisses though, try to separate them. After awhile, they will learn to get along.

trust me kittens will hiss, snarl and attack cats if they don't like them, still I would try to supervise them when possible until they are similar sizes.
