Lets face it, the tour will have to end and their fame will start the downwards spiral. Also i think the media would give them more of a grilling for being irresponsible in the first place.

Or do you think that in a couple of years you will be watching 'true movies' with the 'McCann Story' lol some american cheesy film.

I think its time they end the charade and just go and pick Maddie up from where ever they left her.

I agree its a tasteless question, but I bet its closer to the truth.
The victim here is Maddie, and i believe she is still alive and that her parents know more about it than they are letting on.

Firstly,
These people just lost a child, who are you to question there motives, to question the legitimacy of their clams. Let me guess you under the age of 18yrs old. Or else maybe you would have taken a more mature approach.
Secondly,
Thank god for the media in this case, the more people aware that a child is missing the more likely the possibility of that child being returned.
Have you seen the agony that radiates from Kate McCann's face in every photo?
That poor woman must feel like crap about herself to begin with, and then people like you turn around and demean her as a parent.
Grow up! Have you ever seen the movie "I think my name is Adam" with out publicity without the media people would be blinded to what actually takes place behind closed doors.
Lastly,
While you sit back, and say oh end this "charade", remember that it's always different when it happens to you, and as a parent you would have asked the world for the same consideration.

I'm sure you will get a role in the movie - all tasteless US movies have at least one **** hole in them. But we know that GCHQ have intercepted a phone call about this case - so the British secret service is involved - maybe not James Bond or even Premium Bond! But they have a phone call, a sighting in Morocco. The McCanns have £170,000 to spend looking for her and a £2.5 million reward fund. Having looked at the history of abductions in Morocco I think Madeleine is alive and that distinctive right eye of hers will make her recognisable even in 10 years time. The McCanns are doctors they are used to seeing suffering, death and not getting emotional. They can cry or whatever - after they find Madeleine - until then they keep her in the news. Google are going to publicise the distinctive right eye Madeleine has. Some greedy person may see that and think £5,000,000 for turning them in? Yeah, I'll have that.

I regret that the chances of finding Maddie are slim. The tone of this question is evil and filled with hate. Yes there will be a film, but I do not think that hey will regard it as a fair exchange if they make money out of it. I hope their marriage survives because in these circumstances few do

In a way I think they will be - they obviously love the attention and are vain enough to care what they look like when they are 'looking' for their daughter.

Hopefully when the credits role on the 'Why cant we leave our kids unattended and go and get drunk, we are doctors after all - The true Gerry and Kate McCann Story' Madeliene will have been found safe and well, and their children will have been placed on the At Risk register, so that the McCanns can work along side social services to become responsible parents. But hey they are doctors after all so the automatic assumption is that they are good parents, despite the obvious evidence otherwise

i dont think they will be disappointed
(unless one of them was behind maddies disappearance)

remember grief has different effects on different people
the mccanns will have to grieve properly when all this distraction dies down and maddie isnt found.

it will really hit them....

they have been caught up in a media frenzy and they acted out of shock....and extreme emotion.

i am sure they wont be disappointed, far from it
(as i say, unless one of them is behind it.....i dont like to think this but i dont know the facts, anything is possible in ths day and age)

That is a sick question. ( I almost said you were a sick person but that is personal insult, not debate) How you can even ask a question like that is beyond me. You obviously have no children of your own when you make fun about a child who might this minute be suffering in the most horrifying way! Sympathy and empathy both seem to be missing entirely from your makeup. God bless you

I don't think it is tasteless at all. It is a possibility that I have yet to be publicized saying by no shadow of a doubt the parents are ruled out of foul play. It has happened so often in the US I am sure alot of Americans would thing the same way you are. Any one that I have told the story to feels it is fishy and they believe the parents likely had something to do with it. It has not been shown they didnt besides the obvious of course.

If she was abducted I think at this point if it were me I would want some sort of closer.

I think they wil be relives and then its time for the police to take a whole look at the picture and then decide to prosecute and then it will be time for the British Ambassador to speak to the Mayor of Prai De Luz and say "Really is there any need to prosecute them as their child as been found"

The facts are that the chances of the child being returned are next to none. I don't know the percentage stats but again the chances of a body even being found are very low. And having seen the last press conference it looked to me like the parents knew inside they were not going to see their daughter again but the actual realisation has not yet kicked in. I am very critical of their care of their children on the holiday and thought they got of lightly on that score. All this said its a sad story and I hope I am wrong.
