I don't think that there are enough Mormons for them to get their guy in the White House. I know that Romney doesn't have a chance because of his far right beliefs. He would let his extremist morals run his decision making. He hasn't been a Senator for long so we can't use his Senate record as a defense. He probably would try to get Roe vs. Wade overturned.

Like most Americans I wouldn't vote for a Mormon in the White House on principle but I see nothing wrong with him serving his country as a Senator. There are plenty of extremist Senators (ie. Byrd). But what do you think? Would Mitt Romney have to change his religion to win the election?

Ok so I'm a black girl...(nothing that entirely has to do with this). I started wearing black eye-makeup, then black nail polish. then all of a sudden I started liking a couple of rock bands. I wear all black-oufits from time-to-time (and since I grew up mainly with black people I mix in that style) then I found a black wrist band and now I wear it like all the time. For some reason I even changed my hair style too! (Just to let you know this all took place veryyy slowly.) Now whats worse about this whole thing is that someone called me emo. I was just changing my style and tell you the truth I like it...Alot. To point out the fact I was called 'emo' is wayyy wrong cause first I'm too happy to be emo (even if its not all about saddness and depression).

Personally I hate sterotypes, I be who I wanna be, its just that I happen to be wearing black, like rock, etc etc that throws people off. What do ya'll think about this?

No matter how hard you try, you can't baptize cats.

When your mom is mad at your dad, don't let her brush your hair.

If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the second person.

Never ask your 3-year old brother to hold a tomato.

You can't trust dogs to watch your food.

Reading what people write on desks can teach you a lot.

Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair.

Puppies still have bad breath even after eating a tic tac.

Never hold a dust buster and a cat at the same time.

School lunches stick to the wall.

You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.

Don't wear polka-dot underwear under white shorts.

The best place to be when you are sad is in Grandma's lap.

A three year old put his shoes on by himself. His mother noticed the left was on the right foot. She said, "Son, your shoes are on the wrong feet." He looked up at her with a raised brow and said, "Don't kid me, Mom, I KNOW they're my feet."

Charles Darwin, the man who wrote "The Origin of Species" and "The Descent of Man" was in fact a Christian. In fact it was his belief in God that lead to his understanding of evolution. On a trip to the Galápagos Islands he noticed that on each different island there were species of birds that were almost identical except for the fact that their beaks were different sizes. He realised that there beaks were suited to their diets. Because of his belief in God he reasoned it must be an adaption rather than God having designed them specifically like that as it would mean God was incredibly lazy and not at all creative, as he thought God was fantastic.

Does this information make evolution more acceptable to you Christians out there?

My wedding anniversary is coming up and one thing my husband and I have always enjoyed together is trying new foods/recipes. I'd really like to make something special for him. Preferably something lighter and summery, maybe involving seafood? Got any good recipes, websites or books? (other than foodnetwork.com, which I've combed)

Saturday I received a check in the mail for $4975.00. The letter that came with said that I was approved for a grant. It said that this was the first part of my grant and to cash or deposit the check, then send the broker 10% commission. After this was done they would send the remainder of the grant which was $20,000. At first I thought whatever. Then I checked the website from the letter and yes, I had applied for a grant through the website. The check was made out from a Wells Fargo account. I called wells fargo to see if the account even existed and if the funds were available. To my suprise, yes the account was real, and yes funds were there. So I deposit the check into my account and sent the broker the 10% commission. That was on Monday and I haven't heard anything since. I'm just afraid that I was a dumb *** and got scammed. Could anything happen, as far as my bank goes, since wells fargo verified the account for me?

I've answered a few physics and chemistry calculation questions and have discovered that people who answered earlier than me wait a few days , then edit their answers to resemble mine (which is more complete and accurate than theirs). Since their answers are still considered "earlier" it looks to outsiders that they had the better answer first!
