I work in a pet food retail store, I am the ONLY female associate, and I work with about 10 other guys.

The guys and I are always joking around.. making sexual pet-food related jokes-- "that sure is a lot of beef you're holding", etc.

It's funny.

Today, one of the male associates took me aside and said to me "So when are you going to let me hit that". I was offended and I told the manager. The manager started yelling at the other guy about it instead of keeping it professional and talking about it calmly.

Even though we always joke, what he said to me was not a joke-- it went too far.

Now everyone is mad at me.

Since I'm the only female there, and since i'm able to "joke with the guys", according to the other associate i'm just "asking for it".

I quit my job tonight.


Did I do the right thing?? Do you think that since i'm able to joke, that i'm "asking" to be sexually harassed??

*sigh*... comfort me.

I have a 1974 Chevy ElCamino and recently a section of wire running along the firewall shorted out and appeared burned. I have been told two things. One ,that the El Caminos had a problem with these links and two, that there is a short somewhere in the electrical system that caused the link to melt. Now, short of tearing all the wiring out of the car, is there a way to find out what caused the short? So much of the wiring is wrapped up and in protective sleeves, I would hope to be able to diagnose at least part of the root cause without trying to unwrap it all.
I found the link burned after the car just "died". I found a section of the protective wire wrap melted and bulging out along the firewall. It had knocked out all power from the battery. No lights, horn, accessories etc.
But just replacing the link is not enough. There must be a root cause and I don't feel like being stranded again.So I figure that if it knocked out all the electrical, it must be a major circuit,right? HELP!!!

okay well i just moved to a new state almost a year ago. When i 1st moved here i met this guy. This guy is 11 yrs older than i am, im 16. This guy and i have done things but not 2 an extreme (like kiss and stuff). Ive become OBSESSED with him .. we talk on the phone and he's always there. He works for the county jail and whatnot & he has a career. The problem is.. hes moving out in the beginning of july. When i mean moving out .. I mean that he lives with his parents across the st. and hes moving out of his house 2 live with his friend. I really have no one 2 talk 2 1ce he leaves. Im gona be devestated and heartbroken. WHen im with my boyfriend this guy is all i think about .. its really bad. Every1 says 2 just give up and not talk 2 him but i cant do that. I think i love him but he loves another girl .. he even told me he loves her and it just brings me down .. what do i do considering im literally obsessed and that hes moving out?

My puppy is a border collie, lab and husky mix and is aprox. 7 months old. She constantly bites people thinking that she is just playing but often becomes very vicious and violent. I'm running out of options and do not want to resort to shock collars. Please help!

I am 8 months pregnant and terrified of insects period. Well, for the last couple of weeks, my daughters has been seening large spiders and my husband would kill them. Well, they all went to the store and the spider was so BIG that I seen it in the corner of my eyes and called my husband to come kill it. The thing is.. he did but now I am up at 1 in the morning thinking about how large that thing was. Me and my husband looked it up and it seems to be wolf spider. Please help me.. what am I going to do? What happens if there are more, etc. Guys.. I am pregnant and tired and in need of some sleep.. How can I get rid of these spiders and just give me any info you have and encouraging words if you have any. What stuff can I use because I do not want to bomb the house cause I am pregnant and I know an exterminator is exspensve ... Please help. I just think that one is going to end up in my bed! they don't do job interviews it's relatively a yes or no to the boss. They just kind of go off of the info from a basic application.
would it be okay if I called or better if I go in person?
Because my boyfriend uses our only car to get to work and where I need to go is about 20 minutes away.
my friend got hired at a postiton that would be above me IF i get hired, but he doesnt get a say in who to hire.
anyway, he was telling me this guy we know went in and asked about the job and she hired him on the spot (drug test pending)
So he told me to go in and ask her about it tomorrow.
also, would it be better to go in the morning or when?
any suggestions?
