they don't do job interviews it's relatively a yes or no to the boss. They just kind of go off of the info from a basic application.
would it be okay if I called or better if I go in person?
Because my boyfriend uses our only car to get to work and where I need to go is about 20 minutes away.
my friend got hired at a postiton that would be above me IF i get hired, but he doesnt get a say in who to hire.
anyway, he was telling me this guy we know went in and asked about the job and she hired him on the spot (drug test pending)
So he told me to go in and ask her about it tomorrow.
also, would it be better to go in the morning or when?
any suggestions?

goin in and talking to the boss might be good.
but if your bf has the only car between the two of you then
I guess your kinda stuck.
I'd call the boss or whoevers in charge and just ask them what is going on with your application.

good luck
:)

I have always put them on the spot, after the interview, because they usually ask "do you have anymore questions"? and I ask them "when would you like me to start"? sometime they'll say check back in couple days so i usually call back that next afternoon and ask if they have made a decision, this shows to them you are really interested in the job and motivated,or show up 1st thing in the morning when they open, suitably dressed for the job and ask them if a choice has been made.I went back and reviewed your questions asked prior to this one,and I see a trend, not to be mean, but you aint wrapped too tightly, meaning I detect some possible mental health issues, that need attending to by a professsional

Three days ago you asked how to dump your boyfriend of 5 years. Now you are asking about how to get a job.

If you really want the job, dress appropriately ( if you don't know what that means, stay home) and go early before 100 other people with the same idea show up.

It would be better to go on in first thing in the morning before things get too busy. Just tell the future boss that you would like to check on your application and you are looking forward to working there.
