If the wolf spider is in your house, it either got in via open door/window or crawled in purposely because there are insects inside that it wants to rid your house of. Generally spiders are not going to be in your bed. Unless you are in a dark, damp basement, you shouldn't have any worries. The spider will be on the floor at night searching for food and will be asleep in the daytime. We have them here everywhere. I just get a paper cup and chase them in. Then I place a piece of paper in between the cup and the floor where I caught it and it cannot escape. I release them outside among my flowers, where they are very beneficial. No need to get upset any worse than you already are. Now get yourself a good night's rest.

We called a pest killer person and he said that we had a lot of spiders in the basement called cell-er spiders. He told me that there is really nothing that kills spiders since they multiply like crazy. He said to that the best thing to do is bomb the basement for all other insects. Once the food chain is gone the spiders will be too. Maybe you have a nest of spiders and a pest problem that is feeding them. I am sorry to say but you may have to bomb your house. Also regular cleaning in your en tier house of cob-webs and inside closets where they hang out generally will bring the population down a bit and keep them from wanting to be around.Just be careful and let your hubby do it since they hide in dark places like shoes and stuff once you do it regularly they will be less inclined to hide in there.

I think you're just freaked out. Something similar happened to me when I was hiking once. I saw a snake, and completely freaked out. It slithered away, but after that I was so paranoid. I thought that every vine or branch I saw was a snake. I've never been afraid of snakes, but it was a freaky experience none the less. Just try to calm down. And if you're still freaked out by spiders tomorrow morning, call an exterminator and ask him to come out and check if there are any spider nests in your house.

I think to put your mind at rest you should call in an insect exterminator, they do a very good job and I do know that spiders are very hard to get rid of due to there rapid life cycle. I hope you get a good nights sleep at last. Have a good pregnancy hon.

i am an insect collector before, and have seen several large wolf spiders, those spiders doesn't make a web and usually crawls, bite, its bite may cause fever, and may be hazardous,so be careful, and always wear boots as it usually bites the feet ,because it is just crawling.Always bring insect sprays and if it still appears then call insect terminators.but usually they are afraid of humans.be careful.

Here in Okla. - we have many as well as other insects that come out to play, in the summer.

consult your Dr. - as to what kind of insecticide will not be harmfull to you or the baby. Probly just have to stay away from the house at most - overnite. After you fog , the house.
Have a pajama party - and stop worring so much.

I'm not certain but Boris acid sold to kill bugs may or may not work well with spiders.
You see spiders are carnivorous they eat other bugs so they may be coming in for bugs or here when it rains hard they come in to get out of the rain no pun intended.
