After getting your note(thanks!) I think it's a wonderful idea for your daughter to name her baby after her brother. It makes much more sense to me now. Thanks again!
My favorite spelling of Aaron for a girl is Erin. The only spelling of Ryan that I like is Ryan or Ryann.
Erin Ryan
Ryann Erin
Ryan Erin
Erin Ryann
Those are the only of those combinations that I've got. Since she is naming the baby after her brother, I think sticking with the spelling Aaron if it's a boy, would be the best idea. I like Aaron Ryan best, I think it flows a little better than Ryan Aaron. Congratulations to your daughter, and to you.

For a boy I would stick with Ryan & Aaron. Maybe even switch it up and use the name Brian or Bryan or Byron.
For a girl I like Ryan, & Ryann
And there are many variants you can use for Aaron
Erin
Aerin (you get the two vowels in front of the name too)
Ariann
I would combine the two names or do a variant as a first or middle name and then give the girl her own other name that isn't after anyone. Maybe Rhiannon, Ryaren, Ryaron, Arianna, Brianna, Bryanna. Something different but has the roots in the original names of Ryan and Aaron, that way you are still honoring the people you lost but are also giving the child their own name and identity.

Some of those spellings are near unrecognizable! Ryan is so simple and cute for boy or girl. Add another n (Ryann) to make it different but not Yucky. Erin is a great girl's name. You could also spell it Airin to give it a different feel. Arean doesnt even pronounce Aaron. Dont use it.
I would use Ryann if you already had a son named Aaron. If you MUST use it, do it as the middle name. And if you do use it as a middle name and it is after your son, why dont you use the original spelling Aaron? And give her a more girly first name. Save Ryan for another boy you may have.

This is my suggestion:
Girl -
I actually know a Eriyn which is a great spelling for a girl. As for Ryan you could do Rian Rhyin, Rhyan, Ryin. My suggestion for a girl would be Eriyn Rian
Boy -
I think th ebest choice for a boy would be Airen Rhyin
Really any combo of changing the i to a y works. I think if you are putting them together you might want to make sure you have a balance of i's and y's since they are simular sounding names you might want to have them be a little different in the spelling. I also prefer Aaron to be the first name and then Ryan as a middle name.
I think it is great to remember those we loved in the past in those we love in the present. Congrats to you and your family on your bundle of joy and let us know what is decided.

I think it is great that your daughter wants to name her child after her brother and dear friend. I like Erin, Aaron, Aren, and Erynn. Also Ryan, Ryann, and Ryen. Arean does not look or sound like Aaron, I don't recommend it. Spend the next few months playing around with different spellings, I am sure you will find the perfect spelling. Good luck and congrats!!

If it is a boy I like Ryan Aaron.
If it is a girl I still think you could still call her Ryan, I have heard that used before in the South (Ryan being the maiden name of the Mother of the girl Ryan). If you name a girl Ryan how about a really girly middle name like Ryan Arianna. I think that is cute.
