In the U.S. we have had laws changed over the course of time. Prohibition being one, and that Slavery was outlawed in the 19th century. In other words, certain circumstances changed what laws need to be followed.

The same is true for the Bible. When Christ came, the old testament law was changed as we are now under the law of grace, rather than following the Mosaic laws for the sake of following the laws.

To state that we pick and choose which verses to follow and not to consider that certain verses were written prior to Christ's death and resurrection means that you do not understand the concept that events can shape which laws and verses apply to today.

As critics of the Bible, have you considered this factor of time and circumstances shaping our beliefs.

Or do you say that the US laws are irrelevant because we once allowed slavery and then later abolished it?

You don't have to read my rant, It's just getting things off my chest.

Let me know what you're sick of in life!! It's always good to look on the positive sides of things in life - but sometimes you just have to let it out!!

I'm sick of people poking their noses in where they are not needed. Always telling me that i'm a bad person, that i've "changed" - I have not changed i've just become stronger, I will no longer let people walk all over me. I'm sick of people who if have a problem with me - not telling me straight away. Letting it sit and fester and then one day when we have a minor disagreement bringing everything back up. I for once want to have a disagreement as an ADULT, talk about the problem - not attack me.

People need to learn to GIVE advice, not FORCE advice onto people. I want to have a conversation with someone who is adult enough to say "fair enough you think like that, but my opinion is this"

I want more people to learn the art of conversation

I would like to know:

A. Who all agrees with me that it seems like the people who should be caring most about the student athletes and coaches (Conference heads and School presidents) don't at all?

B. Who also agrees that they think about the money from the bowl games when deciding against a playoff system?

C. Finally who is for a playoff system to end the controversy found only in Division IA football when crowning a champion?

It sickens me to no end that basketball, baseball, and the rest of the college football divisions can hold playoffs, but the main division cannot due to all sorts of unfounded excuses. Who else agrees?

I have been dieting eating whole wheat pita sandwhiches with lot of lettuce,vegetables and cooked chicken breast, whole wheat pasta and also incoperating a lot of fruits in my meals, no fruit juices, no chocolates, no chips , no cheese no rice.
For Exercise:I go to the gym atleast 6 days a week.
I do cardio for 30 minutes then and the remaining excerise for another 1 hour but my weight is the same ont he weighing scale it is quite frustrating.
I drink the 8 glasses of water too.Could anyone tell what is it that I am doing wrong.Any suggestions??
