I bought something from ebay, and it wasn't what I expected. The seller said he would return it to me after I left him + feedback since the item was as described, arrived in a timely manner, etc. So I did that and he sent me a return # which I'm supposed to write on or in the box, and then send the item back to him, and when he gets it he'll refund my $$. Does this sound legit? How am I to know he's going to refund my money? Should I just keep all of the emails I've received from him through ebay and get a tracking # on the package so I have proof I sent it? Thanks!

First of all hello,

My problem is that my Honda's transmission went out awhile back, so I have to replace it. Now I can shell out 800+ to get it fixed, but I'd much rather learn to do it myself.

Now I'm not too experienced when it comes to mechanics, the most I've ever did was change the brakes on my own; but I figure it's a good time to start to learn. I have basically zero idea where to start. So I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of an "how to" manual on removal/replacement of an transmission. Tools won't be an issue, I'm pretty smart when it comes to learning this type of stuff so I'm not too worried. Think of this as my personal Frankenstein! :)

If you can point me to some good websites or guides on how to do it would be awesome.

Specs: Honda Accord - 2.2L - 4CL - 92'

So I saw on TLC that they had made a bed out of old doors....using one for the head board and one for the footboard. Thought it was an awesome concept. So I'm in the process of finding the doors. Once that's done, I need to get four pegs to put on the bottom corners....but could someone here please tell me how to go about doing the frame? I searched TLC's website and found the picture of the bed...just not instructions as to how to really do it. Thanks.

This business of decide we have a soul and that seperates us from other animals is really quite strange.

Even christians that believe in evolution seem to hold onto this one.

But at what point in the evolution proccess does the "soul" idea kick in?

Why hang onto this soul idea anyway?

We are not the only animals that are self aware, nor are we the only ones that display morals and ethics.

With chimps, the alpha gets his authority not by being the strongest, but by settling disputes between others among other social behaviours.

Isn't it arrogant to think that just because we evolved a better capacity for abstract thought that we are somehow seperated from the obvious..........that we are animals who belong to the family of primates.

Evolution threw up many humanoid experiments, some who also made tools and used fire. We just happen to be the only ones that survived.

Did these other species have souls as well?

Or weren't they quite in god's image?

wow i was talking to my best guy friend late, see he called me at like 1 and we talked to 5 30. Um, he is acting like he likes me, but i am trying to avoid the subject, cause last time he did that, he almost ruined our friendship and i shunned him for four months. And when we were talking on the phone, he said, " i love you princess." And i didn't really do anything about it cause he was kinda out of it. But the night before we were up late on the phone and he said that i made a cute little grunting moaning noise. Its just so awkward cause he is my best friend and i can and do tell him everything. I don't know if i should just let it slide and forget about it, but i don't wanna ruin our friendship because he is so sweet and i love him so much (not in that kinda way). He is like the ultimate best friend and i don't want to screw that up again. If you have any advice our similar experiances, please answer!

I know racing is a time-honored pastime for spectators and gamblers. But what makes it interesting to you? As an outside observer I see people staring at cars going around and around a crowded little track on TV and I wonder, "how can this be interesting?" Yet obviously it captures the attention of millions of my countrymen.

So I am curious. What hooked you? Why do you care who wins a race? Is there a dramatic back story to your favorite driver that found its way into your heart?

Also, do different things happen in races that vary the action up and make it interesting? All I can think of is: a) Someone passes someone else, b) Someone drops out of the race due to technical difficulties, or c) Someone crashes. Is there more to the in-race action? What dynamics am I missing? Is what happens off the track (between races) more interesting than what happens on the track? Is that where the drama that keeps you interested occurs? Thanks for your input.

Why are we so concerned about searching for another planet that's just like Earth outside of The Solar System? What's the ultimate goal in doing so? And its benefits to us (humans) or our future?

Even if we found one eventually, are we going to leave Earth (when the Earth is going to end) and transport all humans (though it sounds impossible at this moment) to that particular planet?
