So I saw on TLC that they had made a bed out of old doors....using one for the head board and one for the footboard. Thought it was an awesome concept. So I'm in the process of finding the doors. Once that's done, I need to get four pegs to put on the bottom corners....but could someone here please tell me how to go about doing the frame? I searched TLC's website and found the picture of the bed...just not instructions as to how to really do it. Thanks.

I agree its an interesting concept. And regerugged's suggestion is the best for attaching the frame. But if the door isn't solid wood (which most are not), you might want to modify your plan a bit and attach the door to a post of some design to be sure the point of attachment for the bed rails is strong enough to support the weight of the bed, bedding, and people.

Go to any store that sells beds and buy a steel frame. Then bolt the wood to the steel frame.
