I feel that Kobe Bryant has loss touch with reality. In his world, he believes that the Lakers are in disarray with bad management and players. In reality, he is the cause of the breakdown. Kobe Bryant is a pompous, self-serving individual. Case and point running Shaq out of town so he can chase his dream of being "like Mike" when clearly the Lakers could have won at least two more championship with Shaq. He wanted to be the only show in town. He is now, but the problem is he doesn't know how to get other people involved nor does he want to. Umm..... pompous, self-serving?
At least Mike got other people involved, even to the point in tricking the basketball world in believing that Scottie Pippen is the second best player in the league . Kobe has Lamar Odom, who is no slouch. Since Kobe want to take all the shots and call the shots, Lamar is relegated to collecting scaps. This nothing but media attention to bring back focus to him. Umm..... pompous, self-serving? Remember he can't be " like Mike" if he's sitting at home because he's not in the playoffs. Kobe should just simmer in the stew he created.

I feel like it is a highly improbable situtation in todays NBA that he could be traded, there is his contract to deal with, huge payouts to him by any team that would pick him up and the fact that the Lakers could never get his value back in any trade without getting half of another roster.
I would love to see him go to a contender again myself because while I may not like him as a person he is the closest thing to MJ that we have at this point, I thoroughly enjoy watching him play every time I see him play...offense, defense, water cooler...it does not matter where he is he is the best player in the building every night!

He may want to be traded be he's not going anywhere. No one will pay the 19 million and who could the Lakers pick up to match the best player in the game?

He is just trying to get the Lakers front office to get on the ball and start making good decisions. Because he doesnt want to get stuck with a mediocre supporting cast while he is in his basketball prime and should be winning championships.

I personaly think the Kobe wouldn't leave such a big publisised city to go to somehwere else. I think that he is just trying to get publisity and the attention he wants. He loves b eing under the spotlight in these situations.

It just confirms that the kid only thinks about himself. To publicly turn his back on a team that supported him throughout his trial and has worked hard to make him happy is disgusting.
