Everyone expects the traditional heavy duty words that sum up our time spent in this institution of learning, but I won't bore you with that... Let me break tradition and just say that I hope each and everyone one of you goes out of here and lives - really lives. Carpe diem anyone?

Always start your speech off with a joke, i.e. what do you call a snail on a boat? A snailor. :-) Just kidding. Don’t do that. Below is a link to some quotes on education by some great minds. I’d take a few of them and expound on them, or take a few of them and discredit them.
Good Luck!

I would like to begin with a quote from the great writer , Robert Frost who said "Education is hanging around until you've caught on." As we leave these hallowed walls of learning to go and begin our adult lives in whatever capacity ,we have chosen for ourselves let us keep that thought in mind as we entered this new phase in our lives. Whether it would be in the attainment of higher education, trade school, business school , entering the service or the workforce, let us strive forward to the best of our abilities to obtain our goals. These early years of learning have been the foundation and stepping stone to start our path to greater and brighter horizons but the choice is ours to make and the degree in how far we will take ourselves will show the measure of our dedication to achieve them. We have had eighteen years in the bosom of our parents and educators or our first teachers and the hope of catching on to life's problems, travails , lessons, and accomplishments will set us up to a future that each one of us has mapped out to its completion .
