i know how to factor these problems.

x^2 + 10x + 25

you find factors of 25 that add to give you 10.

but whats the trick for these?

3x^2 - 10x - 8

when theres a # behind the first x?

im christian...in the sense that i believe jesus is messiah yatta yatta...but i disagree with a lot in the bible. so i can understand the logic behind an athiests beliefs (i have several athiest friends).....

anyway its so annoying when religious people try to force their beliefs on you. ive only met a few that have but it was so annoying. i remember i was waiting for my bf to pick me up..so i waited and i have a habi of randomly talking to strangers..this lady started asking me "are you saved"..i hate that term "saved"..well you can guess where it went from there. i was thinking wow if i were muslim or buddhist or hindu - id be so offended right now. she went on saying how "our" god is the only real god. im thinking lady how the ***** do you know?
she couldnt just have said "christian" it had to be "saved" as if the rest of the world is doomed. ppl like this are ignorant.

Bob, the country doctor went to a very remote area to deliver a baby. It was so far out, there was no electricity. When Bob arrived, no one was home except for the mother in labour and her 5year old child. Bob instructed the child to hold a lantern so he could see, while he helped the woman deliver the baby.
The child did so, the mother pushed and after a little while, Bob lifted the newborn baby by the feet and spanked him on the bottom to get him to take his first breath.
Bob then asked the 5year old what he thought of the baby.
"Hit him again," the 5year old said. "he shouldn't have crawled up there in the first place."

while removing the harmonic balancer a piece of the removal tool broke off inside of the crank. It broke off in the hole where the crank bolt go, it broke off enough to where you can get a pair of needle nose pliers on it, but it will not back out. Do you think I can drive this vehicle for a little while in this condition without the pully coming off, and if not how can I repair this problem. I was thinking of putting a torch on the crank and getting it hot enough to pull the piece out, would you recommend this.

Is everyone as freaked out as I am? I know things can get tough being a mom and probably really tough as a single mom, but how can things get so bad that you would physically hang all your children in a closet and then yourself when you have family right across the street? Thank goodness for at least one child surviving! I think everyone should pray for moms every day!!! May they all rest in peace. How SAD!!!!!!

human trafficking is disgusting and america is one of the largest importers of human sex and labor slaves. why the hell havent the authorities and politicians done anything about this? i do understand that because these victims are stripped of their identity upon arrival and concerned about threats toward their families, this is an extremely hard thing to prosecute. its also a billion dollar industry.... i read something a while ago about how being a prostitute is illegal and if the sex slaves came forward they would receive the blame as well...wtf? this is disgusting and people need to do something about it. im trying to educate pplz at school about it and what not. thoughts ?

hmmm maybe if we werent out waging a pointless "war on terrorism" and ignoring a genocide we'd gain some compassion for people enslaved in our own country...just a thought...

What do you think technology is-a blessing or a curse? People are killed more efficiently, harm the environment, get hurt by malfunctions, ect by technology, but on the flip side, where would we be without it? This is not my homework or anything, we had a discussion in class and was interested in everyone's opinion. I think it is more of a blessing, because without it, many people would die without the medical advances, hygiene would not be up to par, travel and communication would never be the same, and inventions we take for granted are the direct results of advances in technology. So what do you think?
